daredevil wasn't all that. I likes Colin and the girl. Kingpin was cool.
Affleck was meh like usual. But decent. I thought the fighting scenes sucked. it was too dark to see anything most of the time
I put it in the middle. better than both fantastic four's and better than x men 3 and spiderman 3 but not touching both batmen's and the first two x men and spiderman
spiderman 3 is the worst comic book movie I've ever payed to see in my life. They made my man into an emo kid.

whenever I look at Christian Bale. I don't think the drastic weight changes he puts himself through for his roles is healthy.

The producers of the film claim that Christian Baledropped from about 173 pounds in weight down to about 110 pounds inweight to make this film. They also claim that Bale actually wanted todrop down to 100 pounds, but that they would not let him go below 120out of fear that his health could be in too much danger if he did. Hisdiet consisted of one can of tuna and an apple per day. His 63-poundweight loss is said to be a record for any actor for a movie role. Heregained the weight in time for his role in Batman Begins (2005).
Brad Anderson had not asked Christian Baleto lose such a vast amount of weight and was genuinely shocked when hesaw Bale's appearance on the first day of shooting. He also confessedto being thrilled by the actor's dedication.

It's a heavy movie. I mean it ain't Deer Hunter, but you won't be disappointed. Herzog likes to pull you down with a main character who's always on that edge between insane and amazing. And he's always looking for a new angle on it. Bale does that lose a ton of weight thing for this too, I think you'll like it.
And Dub...all you're hyping is stuff everyone knows... I get watching the movie just to see what he did to himself and let it soak in...but that's Bale the actor outside of the movie...what's that gotta do with the role or the character or the film?

Then he did it again to play Dickie in "The Fighter" he is nuts.
Body type aside, The Machinist is a very dark, eerie and haunting movie. Not for everyone.
