That's how I felt after I watched Batman & Robin.  I didn't think DD was that bad, also Ben has stated that he would never play a comic book hero again.  If they follow the "Fall From Grace" story line of the early 90's comic, we will have a winner.

CP, I'm going to have to wait until weekend to see btla.

Alright, switching it up from all the serious action/melodrama/political/wartime/suspense thriller type movies, what are your favorite comedies?

Romantic comedy, action comedy, stoner comedy... whatever.

Not going to lie, my list is short. Like I said, I generally like my movies to move me or challenge me somehow, usually through intense character struggle.

But of course, the occasional comedy has peaked my interest, definitely.

The Princess Bride
Robin Hood: Men in Tights
The Hangover (just saw the trailer for the 2nd one
laugh.gif
)
40 Year Old Virgin
early Carrey (Dumb & Dumber, Liar, Liar, Me, Myself & Irene, & The Masks, 1 & 2, both Ace Venturas)
early Sandler (Wedding Singer, Waterboy, Big Daddy, Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison, Mr Deeds; Little Nicky was... enh)
early Stiller (There's Something About Mary, Meet the Parents/Fockers
laugh.gif
)
Black Sheep/Tommy Boy (freaking love both of these
roll.gif
)
Rush Hour 1 & 2. (Thought 3 was... forced. Just... enh)
Half Baked
Orange County
Dude, Where's My Car?
Major League, 1 & 2 (never seen Back to the Minors; no Sheen? No Epps/Snipes? No Berenger? No Uecker? No dice.)
Beverly Hills Cop
Billy Bob Thornton from a few year ago (Mr. Woodcock, Bad Santa
laugh.gif
, School for Scoundrels)

and popular comedies I can't stand:
Napolean Dynamite
Juno
Little Miss Sunshine
any of the recent pardodies (Scary Movies, Epic Movie, Meet the Spartans, all of these types)
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (are you serious right now?
indifferent.gif
)
Borat
the other one starring that idiot who did Borat
almost all Will Ferrell movies
Super Troopers
indifferent.gif

British Comedies (like the Monty Python crap)
