Hangover was good, but not greatest like some claimed. I like a lot of Vince's recent work and that includes The Breakup. Sarah Marshall was good too.

"Swingers" is vastly overrated, his latest film "The Dilemma" was horrid, but Old School, Wedding Crashers, The Breakup are solid Vince movies.

Back on the subject of "Beautiful Boy" did some digging, and found the trailer. For some reason it was rather hard to find at first, not on the movie website or IMDB...

this could be one of the most powerful films in recent memory, the trailer made me feel very strongly about that statement.

sorry it won't embed

go here for the trailer - http://bit.ly/dMNvUR

Michael Sheen? I'll watch it. I've liked the roles he's done lately, this looks to be no different.

I went thru a stretch a few months ago where I watched Superbad pretty much on a daily basis.

And strangely, I didn't even want to see it at first.

I need to check out that Bruges and Black Dynamite  *adds to list*

I thought about posting the trailer for Beautiful Boy, but it's a pain to embed, so I just figured I'd throw the synopsis in here.  I gotta believe that is an emotional roller coaster of a role to play.  How you would go on after something like that........

Liar Liar and Private Parts are two other of my go too comedies, if not for Irene, Liar was Carrey at his absolute finest.  Bruce Almighty was solid, just not on Liar and Irene's level imo.

It's only been a month in here.  I think if we try, we can catch up to the Knicks thread, especially once the summer movies start droppin.  Let's get it

As far as recent comedies go, Forgetting Sarah Marshall is my favorite. I watched that movie 3 times in theaters and own it on DVD and now Blu Ray. I can seriously quote that whole movie word for word. Plus Kristen Bell is just

 to me.

Henry Portrait of a Serial Killer
Saw this on my guide way back when and I DVR'd but deleted it to make room  few days later. Next time it comes up, I'll keep it.

Cableguy (Ben Stiller's cameo was gold) is my favorite Jim Carrey, probably because I wasn't allowed to watch it as a kid

Has anyone mentioned the American Pie series yet?

I liked all 3, but of course the first 2 were the best.

Some of the best soundtracks ever in those movies. Just wish I was a couple of years older when they came out so I could've been living through it just like them.

I saw that first movie and south park the movie with my mom.

talk about uncomfortable. I was 12 when south park came out lol

but hilarious!

But my mom just didn't know it would be thaaat bad. my Dad took me to #%!++$ up movies at a very young age. That has to be the main reason I'm such a movie guy. I went to Heat when I was 8 years old. And sat through the whole movie. Didn't complain to leave or anything

Saw Anaconda with him at 10 lol. Had to look away when they went into the guys neck. And saw He got game with him when I was 11. Those are the ones I remember the most

Comedy is probably my favorite genre. I like other types of movies too, but I tend to re-watch comedies the most. Off the top of my head, some of my favorites are:

Anchorman
There's Something About Mary
Tommy Boy
Blazing Saddles
Pee Wee's Big Adventure
Ace Ventura 1
Austin Powers 1
Friday
Trading Places

And maybe not one of my favorites, but one that I think is pretty underrated is Reno 911 - Assignment Miami Beach. I can understand how someone would think its completely stupid and unfunny, but it cracks me up for some reason.
