Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

I saw the last half of Wonder Boys (around the scene where Tobey goes back with his grandparents or whatever, at the diner) on PIX/CW/WB one day and looooooved it. I really wanna read the book, but it's not on the Kindle yet and I'm trying to move away from clutter.

They have been trying to make wolverine a more kid friendly character over the last decade. The real wolverine character is much darker than batman. Aronofsky would have made the character extremely dark, short tempered, and violent. No way that movie isn't rated R. I also think it would be more of a character driven movie instead of a summer blockbuster

just imo

exactly the reason everyone wanted Aronofsky attached to the film, he would have brought the character to life, the true character.

Not exactly sure how I feel about that, but I can't tell you guys how much I'm looking forward to this movie.

Where did you see this?

All I've heard is that he want's to be in the film and he said he wants to play Tom Buchanan and wants Baz Luhrmann to know that. He said this in a recent NY Times article

I agree. But I can see fox not letting him have final say. It's possible he would have made the character less marketable

Then again maybe he would have made it Oscar worthy like Batman. Maybe the true reason is the tragedy in Japan and fox would have let him do whatever he want. It's a damn shame he isn't doing it.

I checked out the blog btw, Good stuff there. Haven't got a chance to read that much yet though

^ so pumped for a 3rd season of Community, I wasn't too concerned that it wouldn't be re-upped but it did take a while.

Cool link.

Amped for Source Code.  I love stories that has anything to do with time travel.

Currently reading Time Riders series.  Have to ship the books over here from Amazon UK because the series isn't popular in the US

it seems.  That or they are way behind on the releases.  Book 3 is already out in the UK and USA stores only have book 1 over here.
