I'm the other way with that. Not having a script or time and a pissed off director made Iron Man 2 what it was. But I'm looking forward to the next one. It's Shane Black and RDJ. If anyone hasn't seen Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang yet, you're not about that movie addict life.

And I can't knock Avengers, just because it's Joss Whedon. I'm one of those. I'm gonna be in that theater no matter what.

But then Thor and Captain America, I got a hard time getting hyped for. Thor looks like Incredible Hulk !*%$*+ Percy Jackson and Chronicles of Riddick.

And I've seen enough of Chris Evans to know that he's a poor man's Ryan Reynolds, he just looks a little bit more serious is all. But I could see it maybe being good.

Is Sucker Punch a comic movie?  I didn't know that if it is.

I've never seen Kiss/Bang before

But I'm on it, so if it's good, I'll thank you for it later.
What do you mean a pissed off director though?  What is the story to that?  And I liked IM 2, I don't see why anyone would think it wasn't as good as 1.  I read a bunch of interviews after the fact, and Jon never sounded upset about anything.

Chris Evans was good in Street Kings, and London, but other than that, I can't think of much that he's done worthwhile.  And I too am a Whedon backer, though not really a "fanatic" of him or anything, I just know he does good work/writing and what not.

spiderman 3 and x men 3 were the worst comic book movies I've ever seen.

they made Parker into an emo kid.

I'll never take Chris Evans seriously as an actor after watching Not Another Teen Movie. Good luck with that movie.

Not tops Batman and Robin

Nothing.

At least X3 gave us some cool fight sequences and Phoenix... and even though they tried to ruin him, Venom made an appearance for 4 minutes in S3.

I agree with what others were saying about The Adjustment Bureau pages back. Definitely could have been better. I disliked the way it ended.

Damon is my favorite actor, but I recently watched Hereafter, and it was pretty underwhelming. I liked everything else he's been in since last year, though.

Hereafter - 5.5/10
Green Zone - 7/10
True Grit - 7.5/10
The Adjustment Bureau - 7/10

Oh, and The Informant was a late 2009 release, and I really enjoyed that as well.

Few things...

1.) Has anyone ever seen the documentary/film Religulous? Directed by Bill Maher.
2.) If we were to do a "decade draft"... would we do it in this thread or maybe a thread in General?

Havent seen Religulous. Been wanting too, though.

I think if we do a decade draft we should just do it in here. If we do it in General it's gonna be crowded with Avatar and Scarface and other overhyped movie votes and trolling. And keeping it in here at least keeps the S&T regulars who never set foot in General.

And it seems as though the most knowledgeable movie fans on here happen to S&T regulars.

Although a separate thread would be best for a thread like that, giving it a shot in here wouldn't hurt. There are too many asinine comments made in movie threads in General.

Yeah, I would keep it in here.  You can already see who would participate in something like that in here, trying to bring all those same folks over to General, and not get cluttered by randoms

If it gets bigger than expected, I could always clear a spot in the first post, put it in a spoiler and save some stuff in there for easy finding and what not.  Up to you man.

Alright.

How many rounds sound good for every decade? Just trying to get some input.
