I got you. I don't mean to demean Denzel. Love him. I'm fine with him playing the same role, I'm just saying that's why I ho-hum Flight. Good movie, but to me, not elevated.

Training Day was good movie ELEVATED by his role. See my issue there?

Because I love both Training Day & Flight, and I appreciate his role in Flight FAR more.

This character was so... I already used the word compelling, and I don't know of a more perfect word.

Like I said, if he's a one-trick pony ('flawed protagonist'), it's a helluva trick for him. *shrug* Ain't nobody mad at DeNiro for riding the mobster train repeatedly.

^Word and I'll out right say it. Denzel can play other roles but the role he's most known for is the only role he plays great. Can't be completely mad at him for milking it and self-type casting.

- Kill Bill 1&2 set; real talk, I imagined a bunch of you applauding when I grabbed it
- 3:10 to Yuma; LOOOOVE this movie
- Austin Powers set; yeah, baybeeee, yeah
- The Dark Knight trilogy box set; "Oh, I like that."
- Saw I-V box set; more of a 'Why not?' pickup. Loved I, liked III, haven't seen II, IV & V.

Never seen Kill Bills. Truly a "Well NT movie heads put me onto Pulp and I loved it, and I already loved their beloved Inglourious, soooo... leggo" thought process.

Loved it.

It's no Cabin in the Woods or Shaun of the Dead.

If you care about movie extras at all, take back The Dark Knight trilogy. They're releasing a more deluxe box set this year.
