From Fandango -

In Derek Cianfrance's The Place Beyond the Pines, Ryan Gosling plays Luke, a drifter who makes a living doing motorcycle stunts in a traveling carnival. When he discovers that he has an infant son, he decides he wants to be able to take care of the child. He meets an ex-convict who knows how to rob banks, and learns from him how to pull off heists. His actions cause his life to become intertwined with a police officer named Avery (Bradley Cooper), who chases after him during a robbery. The Place Beyond the Pines screened at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival. ~ Perry Seibert, Rovi

:eek :eek

The gawd :hat

Also cooper looks to be turning out some decent roles, still haven't seen silver linings playbook but I heard he was great in it.

The first time I knew this dude could act was watching Half Nelson. Once I saw that, I knew this kid was for real. I love the pics he's chosen to do & it only seems to be getting better.

The believer was the one for me. self hating Jew movie

I read that this new movie is kind of like 3 mini movies. Kind of makes me think gosling isn't in it THAT much which would suck. Most reviews I saw said the first part is amazing and the next two aren't as good

I watched The Believer last week and if we're going by years of films made...that's the film that should have made people go...wait a second, this kid has IT.

2001 - he was 20 years old and absolutely killed that role. Really good movie overall with a interesting message and his character had so many layers, really really good stuff

Trailer - The Wolverine - no more teasers it's the real thing - http://wp.me/p2CCWq-2No

They...did it? :eek :smokin
If they did it'd actually be cool to watch past movies and see how it led up to this.

Right now I'm not gonna comment on him being mortal yet his metal bones not killing him or that his mutant healing factor wasn't something done to him but born with.

Oh and that was the silver samurai armor :smokin

Why do they always have Wolverine hiding out in the woods?..I mean he acts like he wants to hide from the world, yet he's always up in some forest, chilling in a bar, getting into fights with locals..

I thought he left after the massive contamination that happened.
Yea, they said it was a mix of the Japan tsunami ******g the sets up + he said he mostly took the job to get enough hype to get money for his Noah movie...but then Black Swan exploded and he had all the hype he needed.

That bar scene in the Wolverine trailer looked just like the one from the last Wolverine movie to me.  I'll be seeing it though, I enjoy the X-Men movies...

I don't know why this just randomly popped into my head, but can there ever be another sitcom like Roseanne?

Maybe it was that Boy Meets World revival or whatever.

I enjoyed it when I was younger, but I couldn't see wanting to watch it now.  I'd be down every week for something like Roseanne now...

I believe Aronofsky also left so he could focus on Noah. The Japan earthquake messed up production for everyone not only Aronofsky. It killed the schedule of the film and the studio was ready to shelve the film for a while. Then they found Mangold to take over for Aronofsky. But they lost out of alot of big female leads also.

Any good websites for movies that have come out? Not specifically block busters but good I guess "indie" films maybe like perks of being a wall flower and so forth...

No, there can never be another show like Roseanne..People are way too sensitive about the type of comedy that show would require..Which in turn makes the studios way too scared to offend anyone so they wouldn't have the stones to make that type of show..Maybe it could work on a cable channel like CC or TBS/TNT..

When I saw that about TDKR on the features I was pretty amazed. Just another reason why Nolan is that dude.

The Jurassic park is crazy.
