Pat Riley vs Chris Bosh

I can say Bosh at times does seem to play timid after he bricks a 15 foot J once or twice but did most of yall really think (honestly) that he was going to be putting up numbers similar to what he was in Toronto?

It's not his numbers, it's how he gets them. It would be better for the team if he averaged 12 points on low post baskets in the paint than 15 on medium and long range jumpers like he does now.

Bosh's rebounding numbers are inexcusable though. 6 rebounds in 33 minutes for a 6-10 star "power forward" is just pathetic. And to think that I criticized Amare when he averaged 8-9 rebounds with the Suns.

The way he's playing now, his style of play doesn't offer much more than they will be able to get from Mike Miller when he comes back. He'll shoot those jumpers all day. And drain them consistently. That's why Bosh needs to get traded. He can still be a very good player for a team that needs a 6'10 SG/SF. Miami Heat is not that team, becasuse that's pretty much the last thing they need.

ok but miami needs to decide if that's what they got him for because they draw up the plays n dude is not going to be a rebounding maching when he is stepping out on wing and elbows shooting J's, ijs!

I just want to point out how one particular Heat "fan" is content with Bosh and his rebounding

In crunch time of all oftheir close games, its either one of them at the top of the key goingone on one or coming off of a high pick and roll. When one of them isdoing that, the other one's talents are pretty much being being wastedbecause they are waiting in the corner for a kickout. In thoseinstances, I would rather have the ball kicked to James Jones or EddieHouse rather then Lebron or Wade.

Theyneed to decide who's team it is, then trade the other of the "Big 2"for a energetic big who rebounds, and an get an upgrade at point guard.Almost anyone would be made available for Lebron or Wade. That way Boshcan become a legit second option instead of looking completely lost outthere, they can have more depth, rebounding, and look more like a teamwith continuity, chemistry, and with parts that "fit," instead of whatthey look like now.

And for the record, I would trade Wade.
Ithink you pretty much hit it right on the head even though i'd tradeBron instead of Wade.  Wade is a proven winner and is more clutch, imo.  I wish it worked out for them because the "idea" of having aprime big 3 was fun but I think pretty much everyone already seen, evenbefore they played really that Wade and Bron are the same type ofplayer.  Boston's big 3 worked because KG was the inside man, Paul wasthe playmaker/scorer and Ray Ray was the outside shooter, spot upperson.
I agree to an extent w/both of you guys.
1. The Miami 3 don't compliment each other as well as the Boston 3 do.
2. Trading one of the Miami 3 seems to be the best way to "fix" the problem the Heat team is having. But it's way too early to talk trade. If they DO go the trade route, Bosh would be the easiest piece to move. Wade is the franchise as well as the oldest, so I don't see him getting traded. And Bron is still the 2 time reigning MVP. You just don't trade an asset like him.

#6 needs to get traded. Dummy shoulda never quit, then left Cleveland. That will be the best thing for Miami. Because if you trade Wade, that shows no integrity or honor. He's who convinced the two sheep to come down there. Can't trade Bosh because he's capable of being a 20 point scorer. So #6 has to go because his skill set is similar to Wade's and you can probably get more for him. Because, this team as constructed, as long as the Celtics, Orlando, and the Lakers are around, they will NEVER win a championship. How can a team with #6, Wade, and Bosh be playing close to .500 ball? I'll tell you how; Egos, softness, lack of basketballs, and they are targets.
