You definitely can play them on a laptop if the components are good enough, my brother has a gaming laptop that's pretty nice. Im not up on the latestlaptops but from what I remember laptops usually have low power consumption cpus with lower clock speeds to conserve battery life as oppose to performance andusually have onboard video.

With all that random media I have on my PC for video editing and such it gets annoying having to burn data to DVD and external drives to keep space on my 2TBs.
What do you use to stream media to other devices though?

My laptop is trash though. Its a Compaq Presario V5000

Why not just cop more hard drives? newegg has a 2tb for 219. I use a Popcorn Hour in mymothers room & a home theater pc in the living room. I don't need one in my room since i can use my regular pc for to stream off the server.

I thought for crysis you needed DX10? the 7900 isnt DX10 compatible...I think the 8 series cards started being DX10 compatible. So how does the 7900 runcrysis? And I ran dual 8800 GT cards on sli, 4gb of ram and still had horrible fps on high settings with crysis.

Get StarCraft + Brook War expansion and Crysis. I download everything else I want to play for PC. If it's good enough, I'll buy it.

Intel i7 920 2.67ghz quad core too lazy to OC it, ATM its more then enough for what i play (for all future games i suggest you get a quad core unless you wannarun them at low settings)

Xigmatek Dark Knight cpu cooler (yeah i got it for the name)
6 GB OCZ DDR3 ram
9800GT gpu (probably the oldest relic in my system gonna upg it soon)
Western Digital VelociRaptor 150gb (master hd)
Western Digital Caviar Green 1tb (storage hd)
Western Digital Caviar Black 640gb (bt hd)
PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750w PSU
All I play atm is L4D and DOTA basically. Occasionally a MMORPG here and there.
Waiting for Aion Tower of Eternity and Starcraft 2 both due out later this year.
