perfect face?

Experts also believe the relative distance between eyes and mouth should be just over a third of the measurement from hairline to chin. Florence's ratio is 32.8 per cent.
Singer Shania Twain and actresses Liz Hurley and Jessica Alba are ranked among perfectly formed celebrities.
From the article.
Not saying I agree with their criteria, but that's where they're basing it on.
I wonder who can up with this blueprint

these types of stories will probably lead to an increase in plastic surgery like in Korea

And there is the fundamental problem with this entire thread & logic.
Who defines beauty?

Why would I let someone random person/group of people determine the "international standard" of facial perfection?

This logic and thread is laughable.

I can make a "perfect body measurements" formula. I like a 1.67:1:1.67 bust to waist to hips ratio, my golden formula right there. Hovkid and many other nters would call that girl fat, say her lower half is disproportionate, some would say her breasts are too big. I think it is perfect though, since I created it from the perspective of my own tastes; subjective.

That bootleg Sarah Osbourne looking chic and certainly that plastoc anime looking chic are not very attractive to me, hence not perfect. I give less than a %+%% about the ratios and spacing of facial features

Again, you still haven't looked up the golden ratio. It's not some arbitrary number Leonardo Da Vinci thought up.
Oooooooooo I see. Because he made it up it must be right. Cool. If you can't understand the holes in your argument I will leave you alone.

Damn, you don't read do you.

It isn't adding up for you for whatever reason.

Let me break it down again.

Beauty is opinionated. There is not if ands or buts about it.

If a man creates a system that creates a mathematical equation to determine beauty (something that is opinionated) how does that somehow transform beauty into a factual item? It is still opinionated. Equation or not, the equation was created with bias already present in the mind of the creator. So again, why should anyone take this equation seriously?

And to bring up the Golden Ratio as if it somehow relates to this discussion is laughable.

But you got it man.

Honestly, your ignorance is laughable.
Just admit you came into this thread, saw a white girl, then immediately got mad and didn't bother to read anything before posting your opinion.

I actually agree with everything DC is saying there.
He's right, it's all based on opinion.

How can there be a golden standard of opinion?

Lets face it NO one is perfect or has a perfect face. A girl could have the "golden ratio" and some guy would think another girl without it is perfect and golden face girl isn't perfect. Like DC said a couple posts back, it is all subjected. And that my friends, is objective

Exactly. You can't scientifically quantify beauty because everyone has different perceptions of what they think is beautiful.

Yea call me ignorant. That will get your point across.

Again, you just don't get what I (and others) are saying and you somehow can't understand what biased means.

I don't have any issue with white girls. If it were a black or asian woman there the test would still be biased. You are ignoring what the word biased means for whatever reason and are focusing on my perceived hate for white women (which doesn't exist).

It is along the same levels of an IQ test. I guess you feel an IQ test is also NOT a biased test right? Let me guess, since it is a internationally recognized test it must not be biased right?

It is cool though I just chalk it up to you not knowing what the word biased means because if you did we wouldn't have had so much back and forth. Simple as that.

From the original article. Your example agrees with the criteria used.

"Singer Shania Twain and actresses Liz Hurley and Jessica Alba are ranked among perfectly formed celebrities."

BTW It was a contest in the UNITED KINGDOM with 8,000 people. Of course there are other women out there that could be considered more beautiful
