He's gonna come back for 50 next year. He ain't fooling me
I just dont get why people dislike him so much...poor guy in a sense he doesn't have it all
He's a controversial figure, he beat his ex gf, he sometimes avoid fighters in their ultimate prime, his racist statements, his lies and hypocrisies, feuds with other celebs and his friendship with Justin Bieber and now recently his IV scandal.
Honestly no, it's because he's black and rich as ****.
But there are other black and rich as **** celebs and athletes who don't get the same hate...so your point is invalid.
What was happening with berto was that if he was boxing and not brawling floyd, mayweather was pot shotting and picking up apart technically...
when berto decided to brawl mayweathers ability to slip punches, clinch, counter punch, and throw in the pocket made him the superior fighter.
Really the only way to stop him would be putting him against a faster, more technical boxer but this proved not to be available in his era and thus he retires 49-0

Which fighters did he avoid?
Not going to start this argument. But there were fighters he had a chance to fight, like a prime Cotto, and prime Margarito, and maybe a younger Mosley a few times, they were close to the same division at some points but not exact. He could have fought prime Pacquiao earlier, but both sides were at fault although Floyd initiated the issue. Floyd even retired a slight bit or took a break away from the sport. He also retired in 2008 and could have fought WW Paul Williams and mentioned above (Cotto). He had a chance at 140 Kostya Tszyu at some point too when he was around the same weight. He could have fought Brook or Thurman (Both didn't have scheduled fights this summer), two undefeated WWs and end his career with a bang, but chose Berto. But it's all over now, Floyd is retired, there's no sense in debating about this. It's done. Floyd will be in the hall of fame and top 12 best boxers.
Not going to get into the debate about the other fighters because people like to believe what they want. But Mosley was the one who actually ducked Floyd because he didn't think Floyd was "worthy" enough. It wasn't until Floyd became the "big dog" Mosley all of sudden wanted to fight Floyd. But you hear the same thing about Floyd... he ducking _____ then when he fights them and win. Oh, he waited until they were old... never mind the fact that he is older than majority of his opponents.
Nah fam, only 7 title fights.good lord at rocky's record tho...
