this could be the end of our franchise. roys knees again. i knew there was something wrong with him the past 4 games...if we are going for a championship we better go for it now before everyone breaks down. (roy and oden)
lma the only healthy blazer that is in the blazers future plans. not looking good.

its all KP's fault lol

God Roy's knees better not be next

My friend and I noticed he's been playing slower than usual lately, especially tonight. If Roy goes down with a knee injury most of Portland's gonna be on suicide watch.

Bright side: Our record is better than the Heat's

Roy is done, he has no explosiveness left. My brother had knee surgery last year done by the Blazers Dr., Dr. Roberts and he hinted at one of our appointments that BRoy had came back way to soon last year during the playoffs.(he was trying to explain to my brother that coming back to soon could have a worse long term affect, and said that could happen to a certain Blazer). The good news is that with Miller running the point he gets alot of the other players in the involved, where as with BRoy everyone just stands around and waits for him to do his thing. BRoy also doesn't move without the ball, you watch him on the floor and when Miller has the ball, all the other guys out there are moving and trying to create and Roy is just standing there, that is some %***%-assness.
With Roy's knees being in question, should the Blazers trade him right now while he still has value?? What about a trade for Melo, if you could get him to sign a long term deal? I just don't think the Blazers should continue to build around a guy who acts like a %***% sometimes out there on the court and isn't even playing like a franchise player is, eventually they are going to have to make a decision whether to build around him or cut the ties and move the team in another direction.

You laugh, but Roy is acting like a female out there pouting, not moving around to get the ball.  The fact is that he is not worth building the team around right now.  Look at the damn game last night, the Blazers had more fast break points than they have probably had in several years.  That is how this team is built to play right now, a fast uptempo game.  Now why would you go and try to bring in players that suit Roy's style, you would have to revamp nearly the whole damn team.  Roy just needs to shut up and get out there and play and start proving he is worth that contract extension.

I gotta disagree. With his knees being questionable right now, I'd rather him take it slow right now and make sure they dont crumble. It's still the beginning of the season, we're leading the division, and this team has a recent history of bad knees. If Roy thinks he needs to slow it down and play less to preserve his future, I'm all for it. ESPECIALLY since it's his first year of that massive contract, which along with Aldridge, put a stranglehold on this teams future.

I know everyone would rather see Roy play to this teams overall strength, but we need to realize that without a healthy Roy, this team is $!#@. I say give him some time to rest, maybe play him 25-30 minutes a night, the role players should be able to handle the rest of the load for now. And hey, if Roy's running the game slow and lulls the opposition into a slow tempo, I dont see how teams will be able to adjust to having Rudy and Cunningham running off the bench once Roy sits.

While I do agree with some of that, the point I have a problem with is Roy just doesn't seem into the game when he is in there.  When Andre is running the offense he just stands around instead of moving and trying to create plays like the other guys.  If his knee is the problem then he should take some time off and get that right.  I just don't like the body language of the rest of the team when Roy has the ball and his when he doesn't.  When he has it, it seems the rest of the team stands around cause they know he is going to try and do his own thing with it, but when Miller is running it everyone is moving around trying to create cause they know he will try and get them the ball.  This is the team he has now, so he should accept it and play the game rather than complaining and trying to get a new pg, the way Miller has been playing so far this year the Blazers would be stupid to trade him unless they would get a serious upgrade, which there really isn't anyone available out there that is better.

The 4th quarter break down would have been unbelievable if it was any team but the Blazers

not really a fan of the blazers, more of b roy, mainly watch blazers game to just look at what he does, and i noticed this too. obviously it'll yield better results for the team if this does not happen more often. just wonderin whats goin on there.
