I honestly didnt want to see y'all lose to WSU of all teams. Just more for your squad to prove against the Ducks. Anyways, I dont even know what to think about the Blazers anymore. This team's breaking down physically and mentally, and at an alarming rate. At this point, there's gonna be fights and lockouts by the All Star break, people are gonna get fired and traded, and the fans are gonna be confused about everything. EVERYTHING. Roy's stuck here, so I feel like Cho and Co. are gonna try to appeal to him more than anyone. Miller? Expendable if it makes our currently un-tradeable superstar happy. Unfortunately, because I like how he brought control to the game plan which Blake lacked. I still like Roy though, he's our one competitor who can completely take over a game at the drop of a hat if needed (only problem is that his knees are limiting his ability to even take over a single possession).

For #%%!$ sake, this season needs to be mulliganed for us. More of a disaster than last year so far, as unbelievable as it seems

exactly. if it takes dre leaving to make your franchise player play at his best you sacrifice dre...he wasn't even signed to be in our long term plans. (Imagine how great Milsap would've been for this team

) And I don't understand why people keep saying "this team was built to dominate the fast break...I mean you have LMA, and Batum (equally as good in the half court) that run the fastbreak well...maybe rudy off the bench (who might even be gone sooner than later)....no one else...(do not say Wesley, Camby, Oden, Babbit) I mean, I understand if you say we should run the fastbreak a lil' more but we aint runnin like we the Phoenix Suns...and you all know that you aint winning in the playoffs playin like that since the game is 3x slower in the playoffs...
Ill tell you what we need: we need a banger down low and a good shooting PG that can break defenses down aka Jameer Nelson, Steph Curry (pipedream), Aaron Brooks type. and we need Oden to be the defensive anchor down low...I really like Brooks for this team but I don't know if he can be had...that is the kind of PG you need if you are to have any chance at being successful offensively against the Lakers. Aaron Brooks is a killer against Fisher/Blake...

have some faith

Such a shame what is happening to Roy.

However I can't say I'm surprised. He's had bad knees dating back to high school if I remember correctly.

Maybe I am going in on Roy a little bit to much, but damn nothing in sports has gone good for my teams this year and now this news is coming to light
30t6p3b.gif
Like YoungTriz said, Roy needs to learn how to play of screens and hit shots without putting the ball on the ground if he is going to last in the league with those knees.  His bones are basically rubbing on each other without a meniscus, he isn't going to be able to drive to the basket with those knees, let alone take over games at the end like we used to see.  As much as I wish Roy was tradeable at the moment, you are right Noskey, we can't get rid of him because his value just isn't there.  And you guys talking about bringing in a shooting pg like Brooks or Nelson, yea that would be a dream come true, but I can't help but think the Blazers will make some dumb trade and bring in a pg that only shoots the ball and sucks at creating, kind of like Steve Blake.  The only thing that will somewhat save this season is if Oden can come back healthy and becomes a serious force in the post, Blazers haven't had a serious banger down there in forever, and they won't compete in the playoffs in the future without one.
Paul Wulff penetrated the Beavers with his Tuel
But seriously, I feel ya. Yesterday was a rough day. I knew it was going to be a rough season for the Blazers when their injury replacement's backup retired after 4 games... Now with all the talk about Roy coupled with Oden and it just keeps on building up. KP, by the day, is looking more and more like one of the worst GM's in blazers history, contrary to what was believed last year.

Good win on the road, especially without Roy to shoulder the load. Matthews was a beast out there. Lets hope this team doesnt drop the next game to the Nuggets, we cant afford to fall to 4th in the division.

Word on the street is there is a possibility Brandon may be done for the year as well. Hope it doesn't happen, but that info comes from people who know him.

Very great comeback

Nate's gotta use the bench more, we should have had way more than 84 points against a team like the Nuggets.
