this is not true, the sneaker stores buy their shoes from Nike, Addidas, or whoever, once they do that why would the sneaker maker care what thestore does with them, I was a assistant mananger, a store manager and a District manager, back in the 90's (96-2002), and we could use our discount onanything, we could also FD(Factory Defect) out shoes, and get full value for any shoe, I had close to 300 pairs back then, and the most I paid was around $50,most shoes were free after I Fd'ed, a pair that a customer left behind for us to throw out.
