\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

I was looking at S4's before I got my car, and the biggest knock against it was its reliability. I just don't see a tuned B8 S4 lasting the next 5-7 yrs I would like to own it. They have a few known problems, and can be costly to repair. Also, that depreciation

Compared to an STI tho, its all preference. The Subie will be raw, while the Audi more refined, maybe too refined for some. I'd try to find a manual with the Sports Diff. A simple APR tune, downpipes, and pulley will easily put it in the 400hp range. Not sure how fun it'd be to drive tho.

I'd give the overall package to the S4, but performance and fun factor is more important to me.
Exactly, I like the B5 a lot after owning one, I had zero problems out of it but didn't have it very long.

ive done a lot of reading on audi

seems personal experiences differ..........

some get lemons and some of great experience and some have on an off headaches

i thought Audi had better rating than BMW now?

Funny you mention lemons, most people have no idea what a lemon actually is.

But yeah with any car there will be horror stories and people who love them.

if you want awd and want something nicer than a subi get a audi or bmw.. im not even really a fan of audis either but you cant go wrong since it fits what you want

Also... Sports cars used to be 300-400 hp tops... Now base V6's are damn near 350...
Yeah in the brochure maybe lol

I cant think of any NA V6s putting down 350 HP, hell from a quick Goggle search most are only around the 300-320 range, subtract 15% and you don't even hit 300...

Point is V6's are hitting old V8 numbers. "Sport" cars arent RWD exclusive either. Times a changing.

I thought the V6 in the Camaro put out 340 hp?...

Google search says 335 close nuff...

My point is modern sports cars are pushing 500-600 hp easy these days... And RWD isn't always the answer...

I dont know i need rwd for it to feel right ....that go-kart feeling for lack of a better way to explain and atleast for a trueee sports car which is overused nowadays ...if a stock genesis coupe / infiniti / z coupe or mazda miata is a "sports car" then my M3 is a "supercar" which it isnt at the end of the day modded yeah but even modded full blown souped up its not a souped up ferrari/lambo .... I just smoked so dont mind me
