\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

Damn, yall took the bait. He probably has 3 different dissertations typed up ready to copy and paste :lol.

Seriously though... like sgamon said, sometimes they just slap a limited sticker on something to hype it up, and people fall for it. It's like when a team wins the world series and they come out with commemorative bats limited to like 999, or those gold plated Buffalo nickels they sell during daytime tv. If something is branded or sold as a collectible it usually isn't.

Well, light em up till they pop. You'll probably need new wheels after but so what? Buy more wheels and tires, them light em up again.

broken engine mount

I remember when Subaru released a limited version back in 2007. They made a limited STI, only 800 made, 400 in white and grey. the center console actually came numbered also

This 1 out 800 sti actually came with extra functional/better features though, only hawkeye sti with heated leather seats, sunroof, not an ugly big spoiler, factory sound deadening :hat, completely different wheels (not just color), and other subtle differences. MSRP was the same as a regular STI is the crazy thing :eek

You would think this "ultra" limited car would be worth a lot now, being 10 years old now, with premium features, being a hawkeye highly praised looking STI before they became way different(I hear the newer ones get called corolla a lot :lol)..but nope. They are priced the same as other hawkeyes STI

You mean the orange one?

Probably almost a rare as the ultra rare Hyperblue STi. That's what explains the high demand.

SOMEONE SAY RARE? 2000 v6 mustang , almost old enough to vote. Over 200kmiles on her and still gets driven everyday

400
broken engine mount

That's exactly how mine looked some months ago :lol

Switched to Group N mounts immediately and changed to Killer-B high capacity oil pan, oil baffle, windage tray and pickup while they were down there, as the stock pickup is notorious for failure and this increased my oil retainage by like 1.4 quarts.

its a cayman with a 911 motor GT3 suspension and track times to back it up cmon now :smokin

and yeezys > rosches

:|

It's no Cayman.

And yeezy boosts are also superior in quality to Roshe's. Are they worth resale price? No. But you know, limited production on an actual sought out shoe, Instead of say a limited under armor curry 2 lows in I don't know, Orange or something(just thinking out loud here). Hope we understand each other. LE's hold the best resale value out of any of its STi counterparts with identical mileage and year.

Orange? Hyperblue? No, didn't know about those. Those colors sound very unique and sick though. These were white and grey

I'm not familiar with other limited ones, just the 07, as I kind of agree with what everyone's opinion about the styling going downhill after (people call them corollas :lol), so I stopped paying attention. I can't even imagine what those newer limited versions come with though :eek, this 07 was the same msrp and came with allllll that extra stuff I mentioned earlier, so I imagine they're way different and nicer. I wonder if Subaru still charges the same as a regular model for all this extra stuff also. Not that it really matters, though. Since this more praised 07 sti 1of800 goes for the same as a regular sti :after 10 years :lol. Crazy since it had way better features. I'm sure the newer ones have better features/are way different and they're probably more sought after though, not sure, just using a knowledgeable guess here

The VA chassis STi is a current legend, and Nurburgring, Isle of Man and Rally America can all attest to that.

The championship winning, back in WRC Subaru color is WRB and gold wheels. The 22B last sported it and if they ever made STi's back then, the 22B will be the only Impreza sporting that color in a ridiculous low production amount.

Whatever STi you're talking about is probably appropriately priced as it holds no collectible features. Just like the orange and smurf STi's, with the orange limited to 1of 300 and Hyperblue 1of700 Not sure why any of it matters to people who don't even own the car, but being misinformed is never a good thing.

I understand the fanbase are not always blatant to tell you they're fans of the STi, but eventually their words and actions (even if they think is negative) show how much attention they pay to the car and low-key admire it.

Grandtheft guy NTer throws low-key/high-key salt here and there (more often than usual when something new happens to the car) but that's understandable as he actually owns a '15 STi. To others, though? I don't even get why they would care :lol

This dude always pops up in my feed. I don't follow him, though. But he basically has my setup minus E85 I believe. Probably at 315-320whp on a mustang dyno. His second time competing, believe he barely had any seat time before, and he's getting 3rd place vs vets with who knows what they have done to their car

.

This is why the great drivers are able to dominate Rally America year after year after year after year after year, and so on.
Seen his car around around my area he lives in Toronto, the sticker job

Yea he just went all out track car on his, which is something I would never do unless I have a few similar cars in my stable already that can give me that performance everyday.

His stickers have some of his sponsors I believe and then some are just poser stickers, OD. But the kid looked like he was new to a steering wheel prior to this, and here he is winning medals and trophies against pros in his VA STi :lol

Probably not a match to certain Track King NTers who have no need for brakes, though. Their skillz stop the car.

Yeah don't fall for the brembo scam they're a ripoff b

for sure :hat

Brembos make the car stop faster at any speed.. If the car is traveling at 10, 20, 40, 130 mph, brembos will 100% make the car stop faster than, lets say a WRX with stock brakes. If little jimmy doesn't look both ways and just runs across the street, better hope the car about to hit him has brembos and not the stock wrx brakes, as the brembos will stop faster...oh wait, it wont make a difference in any of those situations :lol

lets not think oem brakes cant lock up tires instantly like brembos, people :lol :{. Friction from the tire and road stops the car, not from anywhere else, this is just my car, though.

What I said doesn't apply to most people on here, though. Since there's people here who track their cars and will deal with heat induced fade, especially the people who think I don't know what I'm talking about, of course.

I had a Brembo BBK on last car. They didn't help when I rear-ended the SUV in front of me. But that's probably because I didn't even touch the brake pedal.

The problem with any BBKs is that you have to press the brake pedal for the calipers to engage.
