\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

I'm gonna change my brake fluid as well pretty soon.

If you're feeling froggy(it's really not expensive), I would change the lines. Mine are still on back-order and most of the stock components on my car are already performance-orientated so they're already an "upgrade" per say but there's always room for improvement. The best ones I could find for my car go for $230 and I got them for $180, StopTech were significantly cheaper.

You'll thank yourself in the long run and right after your new flush and fresh performance lines install.

Sometimes little **** like that make a big difference, but people rather spend their money modding appearances than funcionality, completely overlooking the most simple stuff. I say this because it seems like you like to drive your car and want the most out of it that it can offer you.

Idk, that was a bit of a rant on people avoiding funcionality and just completely focused on exterior/interior unnecessary modifications. I didn't even tint my windows when I owned my DB9, and the ****** wheels already came with the car and I was waiting for the dealer to give me the OEM ones but in the end said **** it.

test drove a 2017 wrx this past weekend and i just simply fell in love.

I have an outback now, 2016 (just got it last year) and i put stupid mileage on it (45k) and according to KBB its worth 20k and the wrx is about lets say 32k.

Trading the outback in for the wrx. i will owe more money right? :(

Have you test driven a base STi? They don't go for much more and you're getting a COMPLETELY different car. Only reason I didn't get a base was because 22B package. Only thing I would get is the push-start feature and that's it.

People paying 40+ grand for a Ford Focus? :x
Thats what I was thinking, I could get a 5.0 for that...

I would wait to see what the depreciation is going to be like. There are weak points in the car, and as it being the first year they came out I would wait at least another year for them to work some of those things out if they even can at this point.
Oh yea, im definatly waiting. I was just checking them out, and that sticker was posted on my FB group. Like I said above Id rather get a 5.0, or something else at that price point...

I think someone just posted a 2016 5.0 for $30k, didn't know what they go for until now that I googled it. They don't look half bad either, but if you're cross-shopping with an RS it looks like you want something else out of your car.

That focus is not worth it at this moment IMHO, they need to work a lot of stuff out. If you're going to keep the warranty I would still buy next year's RS for no more than sticker price.

22b package? Na havent drove the sti but if its a different car then the wrx i could only imagine.
Ive always loved subarus.I had a legacy and the outback and my brother drives the XV crosstrek but i couldve never afford the wrx/sti until now. The wrx was the 2017 limited package btw

Either tomorow or thursday im gona take the outback to the dealership and see what they say and crunch numbers, but if i end up owing more then im just gona stick with the outback....so pray for me yall...i REEALLLY WANT THAT WRX

Dude, if it's the limited package you're like 6 or 7k away from an STi(probably even much less if you shop around and try to haggle as much as you can), and it's going to be financed at a low interest rate.

Listen to me, man. Get a base STi. You'll thank me later, just heed my advice. Please

There's a place in Ohio I think that's selling roush supercharged 5.0's with a warranty for under $40k (delivered to your door). 670hp...with warranty...fam.

550+horses to the wheels is dangerous in that car, all memes aside.

you're right, but 550hp is dangerous in pretty much any car. I'll admit things got a little sketchy the first time I put it in "track" mode (took me by surprise)...luckily there weren't any trees around. I have a little more power than stock now, and I'm pretty used to it...which sucks for my tires.

Debatable, but will also agree. One of the best mods you can do is a Driver Mod, but I'm almost certain my 15 year old cousin can easily drive a 600+whp R35 GT-R extracting all those horses.

Big *** wastegate directly on the hotside too, get that snail out of there and increase the displacement. That's how you get real power.

Nah. That's what intercoolers are for.

Or switch up the plumbing .

You lost me, bud.

It's all properly installed, I was being sarcastic. Custom pipe fabrication is already done on that motor to the turbo as the turbo is so close in order to probably save space. You can clearly see the weld joints on that cera-coated what appears to be a downpipe.

See the middle is a completely different setup where the wastegate is attached to what looks like a divorced uppipe with an open dump or attached at the end of the dump tube which doesn't sound right. Not sure what's custom or what's mass-produced.
