find a e46 forum and ask that question.I'll be 21. I could probably handle the maintenance, is there a lot required?

So, I'm looking to get my first car for my birthday (September). I'm looking to get a older (95-05) BMW 3 series, I would really prefer two door. I'm looking to spend around 8-10k.
What type of mileage should I look for? I know >100k is good. There's a local place that has a 98 3 series, but it's a convertible, for 11k (don't really want a convertible, I'd like hardtop if possible). It seems like majority of the two doors I find are convertible, I think I've seen less than three hard tops in my area. Is a hard top more expensive?
i want a 1968 mustang so bad.
how hard can it be to maintain it? it would be my weekend car, as i commute to the city everyday and really would only drive during the weekend. a decent one is running like 6-9 g's.
never knew a manual hybrid existed!around 3k. thats the thing i know its a honda but its also a hybrid. i dont know if that part of the vehicle can last any longer. plus its a manual car which i dont know how to drive
Assuming clean title, it sounds fair. I'd pay between 4.5 - 5.5 depending on transmission(i'd prefer the 5speed) and condition of vehicle02 Mazda Protege 5 with 106k on the dash for $5,000 sound good?
I think the term you're thinking of is "coupe". A hardtop is basically something that gives a convertible a..well.. hard top. An E36 m3 is a solid choice. They arent hard to work on, and are rewarding to drive. Try and find one in techno violet! Or whatever its called! I love that color! E36 can be had under 6 grand easily. Slightly more for an M. E46 are a bit more..So, I'm looking to get my first car for my birthday (September). I'm looking to get a older (95-05) BMW 3 series, I would really prefer two door. Window tinting:
Ceramic or non-ceramic tint? Shop will be using FormulaOne llumar tint. The ceramic is $100 more. I didn't get my roof wrap done yet b/c a shop is now offering tint deals so I think I'd rather have the tint first.
Ceramic tint rejects heat a lot better than any other metallic or regular tint. There is also the notion that metallic tints can interfere with the Key Fob and the Radio/GPS antenna.Window tinting:

Personally, i'd stick with a 3M product over FormulaOne if the shop offers it.
ok thats the opposite of my advice
How much yall pay for tint?
I'm in la. Just go to a cheaper spot that gives you lifetime warranty. Whence it goes bad get it replaced for freeim bout to pay 155 for 15% suntek tint on my civic si coupe. price really depends on where your located. near a bigger city it tends to be more.
