Well this is lovely. Popup headlights are always nice. De Tomaso Pantera, base car is a Huracan. I dig that front end alot.

way way way nicer than the new countach.

I love this idea from Ares Design. Can't believe this car came from the mind of Danny Behar, of the old 5 different Lotus concepts back in the early 2010 timeframe. Stories about him at Lotus are wild, just look up his history.

That said, this is great, just isn't cheap! Like $600K PLUS the cost of a Huarcan as a donor, I believe.

They do have one cool thing though. With the Huracan having a dual clutch, Ares Design made a cool stick for selecting the gear, and also added a bump-shift for manual mode, in the shape of an H-pattern. Here's the picture of it. It's a pretty cool idea and design.

Oh we talking Honda's / Acura's, thought it was to low budget in this thread. Back in April/May picked up an 01 Prelude as my daily driver. SC400 is still in the shop and that won't be my daily once it's done. MR2 is to small in my opinion for the backroads I sometimes take, deer jump out or play in the street.

Loving this car, manual SH tons of fun.

I been checking my monthly gas expenses.... and I been thinking about getting a Tesla myself lol. Spending $54 every 4-5 days to gas up is becoming tiring. Only issue is that, they so ugly to me but man how much money a month I can save if I stop driving the car I own now. I even been checking cheap electric cars but those get even uglier like the Nissan Leaf which seem the cheapest lol.

Fake manuals.

Well, since a true manual isn't a possibility (it's using a Huracan as a donor and they are all DCTs) this is kind of inventful.

While I'd love supercars to be manual like the old days, the DCT in a Huracan Evo is a BLAST! Basically makes it a daily drivable supercar. Don't knock if if you haven't driven one.

Came back today from Cars & Coffee. A few cars stood out. Here are those few.

Yup, a brand new 2022 Porsche GT3! Car is VERY impressive in person. Though, I think if it was me who had an actual allocation for one, I'd have chosen a better color (I would have done Mint myself). Car seemed to be missing something. Maybe a GT3 stripe on it or the center stripe down the middle. Overall, VERY COOL! Love the front end treatment.

And the other car, kinda flew in under the radar of most everyone there EXCEPT ME!! S60 Polestar! That car is awesome! And it was in the perfect color, Cyan Blue! Very rare car.

And I swung by a local car show to see what was there. Found this.

Lotus Elise in I believe Ardent Red. Very clean car. Love these. Always wanted this but will go with an Evora 400/GT for my next and last toy.

And in the parking lot walking into the show.

1994 Viper. First year with A/C. Had a slick 3-piece hardtop that can come off as t tops. And a 308 GTSi. Not sure the year or if it's a carbed car. But I wonderful shape. That was my morning.

The premium I am hearing is about $50K of not more. Gotta send my buddy who has friends who work for a dealer in NJ and see where they are at on their markups.

I think the last GT3RS was perfect, especially in white haha. Cant get over the new gen nostrils like I coudnt get over the M4/3 lung grills.

I was offered $20k for winged and $40k for a touring. This is from a dealership I had no relationship with. The dealership I got my cayenne from took my build sheet and said they would charge “market price” when my turn comes around. Doubtful that will ever happen. With the range of colors available I don’t think PTS is work $12k.

with that being said, i dont really like the two-toned front bumper and the swan neck wing on the GT3…just doesnt look right…and looks more suited for a japanese car

Car looks very clean in pics and will obviously have inspected and check myself in person, if I do move on it. Wondering if it’s even worth going any further based on the car fax though. What you guys think?

my integra that i posted above has been in my garage and undriven for at least the last 8 years… and i rarely drove it the last 4 years before it sat…

sometimes people get caught up with work/life/kids and things from before work/life/kids just sit

if its a EM1 and clean id definately look at it
