\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

Found a very low mileage 2000 Honda but carfax seems kind of sketchy. Looks like car was registered in a county that was a fema disaster area during Katrina. Then in 08-21 the car basically sat. Car looks very clean in pics and will obviously have inspected and check myself in person, if I do move on it. Wondering if it’s even worth going any further based on the car fax though. What you guys think?

Wonder if it had any flood damage given it's location. It's been sitting for 13 years now, that itself can cause some mechanical issues no? I'd go look at it as long as it's not more than 20-30 miles out. If it's all the way out in Louisiana, yeah no

Sorry for the crappy pics but can someone help & tell me what kind of car this is? Saw it this morning on the parkway. I think it's an Aston Martin of some kind but I could be wrong. Was multitasking taking the pictures so they came out blurry

pretty sure that’s the Aston Martin Vantage. Love that rear but the front is trash

Yup, definitely a V8 Vantage. The front looks bad with the normal sport mesh grill. Now Aston Martin has made available the more classy vaned grill with the horizontal bars. It's even available as an aftermarket upgrade for those who bought cars before they made it a factory option. Makes the car look SO MUCH better.

Cool thing about the Vantage. One of the few cars still available with a 7-speed manual. 👏👏

The 1993 Vantage will always be one of my favorite cars...What a shape. I had one in Gran Turismo 4 or 5 that had like 1400BHP

Came back today from Cars & Coffee. A few cars stood out. Here are those few.

Yup, a brand new 2022 Porsche GT3! Car is VERY impressive in person. Though, I think if it was me who had an actual allocation for one, I'd have chosen a better color (I would have done Mint myself). Car seemed to be missing something. Maybe a GT3 stripe on it or the center stripe down the middle. Overall, VERY COOL! Love the front end treatment.

And the other car, kinda flew in under the radar of most everyone there EXCEPT ME!! S60 Polestar! That car is awesome! And it was in the perfect color, Cyan Blue! Very rare car.

And I swung by a local car show to see what was there. Found this.

Lotus Elise in I believe Ardent Red. Very clean car. Love these. Always wanted this but will go with an Evora 400/GT for my next and last toy.

And in the parking lot walking into the show.

1994 Viper. First year with A/C. Had a slick 3-piece hardtop that can come off as t tops. And a 308 GTSi. Not sure the year or if it's a carbed car. But I wonderful shape. That was my morning. 👍

Mmm Cyan Blue is so gorgeous, I'd take that S60 Polestar and an Elise over the new GT3 to be honest lol never really been a fan. I did see one in silver after your pics and it did look a lot better than the white, though.

RT/10 is IMO a great buy...I haven't followed prices since the used car boom of this summer, but I know last year they were selling for peanuts. I believe the first year ones didn't have traction control so they were even more of a wild ride lol...I remember when I was in middle school a guy in our neighborhood bought one. We didn't see many fancy cars around there, and I remember legit running into the street to flag him down once so we could get a better look at it lol.

porsche is a porsche. id take any 911…been even trying for a 996 all year w no luck…

with that being said, i dont really like the two-toned front bumper and the swan neck wing on the GT3…just doesnt look right…and looks more suited for a japanese car

Rooting for you to find a 996 man, def grab one if you can. They are so nice...Prices are still comparatively low, but they will no doubt skyrocket in a few years. All the dudes who whine about the headlights on 996 will be crying wishing they bought one years ago when those prices go up. IMO that was the last beautiful looking 911...After that they look a little weird to me for various reasons.

Picked up my 15k budget track/street car
today. Ended up spending 18k 😅. Found it on the corvette buy/sell forum on Facebook.

2002 c5 Z06 51,600 miles

Will need some work since it sat for the last few years. Last owner was a 68 year old, who owned it for the last 12 years. It was his weekend car and would auto cross it few times.

the bearing fix is so expensive…i finally found an okay one and started calling around to see what a bearing replacement cost…its kinda hard to imagine buying a 996 then spending 6-8k on a bearing fix to eliminate the chance of a blown motor…

i dont mind the 996 headlights…the only thing that makes me hesitate about 996s is that they look heavy…i had foxbody 5.0s when i first started driving…then i only drove japanese cars…everything ive driven has been fairly lightweight

Didn’t know 996 had bearing issues also that’s like triple what it costs for an M is it an engine out?
