They are really good looking wheels. Only downside, is if one wanted to do a disc brake conversion (these have manual drums on all 4 corners) you'd have to either use a small set for these wheels (to fit) and also run some ducting for brake cooling (solid wheels don't offer any airflow) or would have to get new wheels. It's kinda why she never did anything major on the car (it was already done up a bunch by the former owner way way back in the late 2000s before she bought it). Car already had a 406 stroker in it.

But one of his dailys is just a WRX that he does whip around often.

I can’t find one with a 37” package for under $100k in California. Actually there’s one on trucar/autotrader for $98k ($10k over msrp) but it’s orange.

Sadly, don't think it's gonna happen, unless you either find a small dealer who doesn't mark up cars or call out of state and find a dealer. Most dealers won't not mark it up.

Unless you got a direct plug with a dealer it’s probably not gonna happen at MSRP. Even before the current market spike it was hard to pay sticker on raptors the first couple years. They closed the ordering banks for 2022 in April and they probably won’t open for 2023 until January. Some builds are being delayed and dealers from what I hear are only getting tentative delivery dates. Also, a dealer isn’t going to just waive their guaranteed $10k+ markup so a customer can drive it for 6 months and sell it for more than they paid for it. My truck is worth almost what I paid for it 3 years ago, so I can’t hate on the markup/market when I’m also benefiting from it.

I always check my daily Bring-a-Trailer email for cool things. Well, I have a few saved cars that I get emails when they pop up (any Lotus, Ford GT & GT40, Mustangs & Lamborghini). Well, a very cool holy grail for me popped up and I'd love to see what it eventually does, as these don't pop up often (if at all in the U.S). I gather there are only a few here (though they can be imported but they are going for silly money overseas).

Lotus Carlton! 3.0 straight-6 with twin Garrett T25 turbos with a manual from the C4 ZR1! 377hp/417tq & THESE THINGS ARE FREAKING WICKED! Was the fastest sedan for a period of time. I'd absolutely LOVE THIS!! Would definitely be a hit at Radwood!! And would get a lot of look anywhere you took it. If only I won a small scratch off lottery!

My 570 was 100k. The Lx 600 ultra luxury is 127k. They are all sold out.

LX is more of an off roader, tidier and will be much more rare. I did check out the Sequoia at Toyota and it’s fantastic as well. I wish i could have both lol.

$100k for an “off roader”.
I’d keep my Wrangler for that but the Lexus looks like the ultimate mom-mobile. It’s definitely better looking than the Ford and GM offerings.

Btw I think just about every vehicle is sold out right now.

Mom mobile? This is more capable than any Jeep. It just happens to mix luxury etc. It’s sold over seas and the number one choice in the middle east for being basically indestructible. A Wrangler is cool, I had a lifted one for a company car. Night and day difference.

I’m sure it’s comfortable but I wouldn’t be taking that barge on Moab. The Jeep is is no way comfortable but it is a true off road vehicle.
Where are they bringing it in the Middle East for off-roading? The desert? Sounds very gimmicky when in 99.9% of cases it’s hitting Starbucks curbs more than doing any real off-roading.
Again it looks great but $130k is GLS63 and X7 Alpina territory and I can’t see a Toyota in a nice dress being a direct competitor. Just my opinion of course.

Nope nope nope nope & nope, lol. She's not a fan of Porsche. As stated by others in our car circle, that unless your really into cars, they all look similar, sands the GT cars, and frankly a regular 911 or S or 4S aren't super special. No MB & BMW, as they are not of any interest to her. And definitely not a McLaren or Aston. She has the SVR which is more powerful than most reasonably priced Astons plus it's way more rare. And why buy a McLaren when she already had a LP Gallardo. No one's gonna guess it, lol. It's unique. I'll post pics eventually.

I saw that the order banks are supposed to open next month, and part of me thinks it’s a better idea to wait for a 23, but the chip shortage is real. The forums are full of people waiting for their orders they placed last year. If I find a 37 package in the color I want at a 10k markup I’ll buy it asap.
