Your last statement is absolutely not true. You can do plenty to make a Dodge sound different. I started off with the budget exhaust mod- mid muffler delete replaced by straight pipes.THESE ARE OBVIOUSLY BOTH STOCK.

And then when I had the work done on the engine I had them put on a custom grind aggressive choppy cam + American Racing longtubes & some other stuff. My car sounds better than any stock Demon or Hellcat & it doesn't sound identical to any other Mopar.

What’s crazy is, I almost got 2021 Limited with the tech II package brand new in 2021. Turn down it down because the numbers were just outrageous. Guess I’m glad that it worked out that way. I've only seen one in the wild. Good looking car but Hyundai depreciation means it's a good value used.
People shopping the S or 7 aren't shopping for this because the dealership experience is the same as a Hyundai Accent

To be fair, Genesis has their own separate dealerships and are NOT in with the normal Hyundai stores. And with that, way different standards they must abide by or they miss out on all the extra dealer money that comes from the back end
