\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

so then why are you down playing all the mods on a V6 when you do the same to a hemi and it will make it a monster? I was just referring to the guy saying its 300 stock and you can add some mods to hit the 370 Hemi and what im saying, it doesnt make it the same at all. Its all about the torque brah

if you drove a V6 and a Hemi its two different things, its all about the torque and for the size of the cars the V8 is pretty quick and powerful. Not saying its a damn race car but its impressive especially for the size and especially WEIGHT

even with my 300S i just got recently, could have went with a V6 in a 300 which no one gives a damn if its V6 or V8 and you cant even tell aside from under the hood but i went with the V8 and its even quicker than my 2012 Hemi charger.

AllIm saying is 90% of time your street racing or driving. Most people especially younger people dont even mod the hemis they keep it stock

All im proving is that a v6 is quick and powerful yo and will keep up with a hemi especially if it  is supercharged

Thats a turbo charged v6 and hes running a 2500 stall.

The stock v6 is adequate, in no way will it keep up with the v8.

That said... most of NT is ridiculous and completely ignorant when it comes to cars. 6cyl cars account for a vast majority of Muscle car sales. If it weren't for mass produced 6cyl cars that offset the cost to produce the performance variants US muscle would be MUCH more expensive.

Shoot.... if it weren't for all the 6cyl cars in the past there would be a hell of a lot less old schools on the road and at the track, because many of those cars were originally factory 6cyls that people dropped crates into later in their life.

wrong sheet brah, thats for the 6.1, we (at least i am) referring to the 5.7

if you got a V6 sweet, no need to take it so hard. regardless congrats, i just dont like V6 american cars

once again who said i had a v6????

C'mon man.... we know you got the v6. Its still a nice looking car... with the exception of those rims :x :p

Also... we've seen pics of your car. No Hemi badge on the hood, no rear spoiler and the higher ride height confirms its a v6.

Da Hemi cost maybe 4 of 5 grand or than the V6.

If you supercharging and all that you are going to spend way more than that.

Its a pointless debate.

As mileage and to put people.like you to shame on the streets when you try to race and a v6 Beat you.

Drives Beyer as a daily driver vs a modded hemi. Insurance rates lower, lots of reasons man

Bro a stock v6 can.keep up with a hemi on the streets

Supercharging a v6 is better then a stock hemi. Low rpm torque post and other reasons

You get low gas mileage low insurance rates better driving as a daily driver

I'll take a supercharged by any day over a hemi

Supercharge the v6 and.you got more horse power and torque then a stock hemi

Now if I.had my.choices it all boils down to if I'm going to keep engines stock I would choose supercharged v6

If Iknew I had money to put in a lot of work on engine then yes Would get the hemi

I've had both, well a V6 Charger and V8 Challenger.

There is literally no point. Hell my insurance went down when I got the Challenger.

Any money you save on insurance you lose on resale.

Like I was saying I had a supercharged by mustang 2002 and it was smashing stock hemis

Those hemispheres are good for high speed racing. I showed you the chart.

At 4.5 rpms. Highest hp Output is 30 horses same as v6. Your not going to see the rest of horsepower unless your going 100 plus or floor it doing track racing

so why are you bringing up superchargering when you can do the same with the V8? :rollin

why are you justifying the V6 when its not the same and cant keep up with the V8? stock for stock... im talking about same car. charger vs charger, challenger vs challenger, 300 vs 300. its not keeping up in the streets but hey dont ask me, i wouldnt know since i havent been driving them for years, been around them all my life so i have no idea. ignore my posts actually.

again, why are you comparing insurance? its different for everyone. I know a guy whos paying $75 a month full coverage for a 2012 srt8 charger.

whats your point?

I swear man nothing rustles jimmies like Da Hemi. :smokin

Got dudes spending more than what their car is worth beat to it. :lol

It ain't even that fast.

I drive a v6 mustang ain't even cuuurrr
Rather push that then a slammed civic tho
( don't hurt me fellas :) )

same here :lol but thats not the argument

hes basically saying the V6 is same as the V8 performance wise and on everyday streets :rollin

Yeah I don't even entertain those arguments I know dam well my 2004 v6 will never be close to a v8 but these new v6 aren't bad or should be looked down upon but if I'm ever buying a new car v8>>> anything else

She's growing up :(

Have you had any reliability issues with your car?

I ask cause one of my boys is interested in one of the Aston's, and he briefly mentioned he's concerned about reliability of the car.

IMO the DB9 is probably the most reliable exotic in the 220k+ range MSRP

Maintenance is pricey, but if you do it regurlarly there shouldn't be any problems.
You should also check oil levels every few weeks. The AM V12 eats oil, so oil starvation can ruin the engine. I think it eats 1 liter/2k miles on average.
But if you're doing mostly city miles it will eat more.

Interesting. I was thinking of a V8 Vantage in a few years to get my feet wet in the game. But I too always thought the maintenance could be a real killer.
