\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

I've found the zl1 I'll likely cop - new 2013(aint feeling those new tail lights) manual in black. Only problem is it's 2500 miles away from me haha. And I need to unload my current car.

Soon.

Chevy has no choice but to make a new zr1 now

My body is ready.

never understood the point of the Z28, isnt the ZL1 the monster camaro? now that is a camaro i can get down with :pimp:

ZL1 was made more for the drag strip than the track, although it'd also do nice there. Z/28 is a rich mans collector's item, not to say it won't beat most cars in the track.

The COPO is their strip car/collecters item, the z/28 is their track car and the ZL1 is a comfortable, daily driveable street car/grand tourer.

But what I'm saying is, nobody is really going to buy the Z28 unless you're really wealthy, most of the time they end up sitting in a show room. Not like a ZL1 that I see from time to time on the street.

Does Ford or Mopar have an equivalent to the COPO?

Hope Chevy supercharges the LS7

Looking for some advice from any present (or past) Jeep Grand Cherokee owners. I'm finally looking to buy a car after all this time and have my eyes on this 05 Grand Cherokee Laredo. Has about 90,xxx miles on it and they want 11K for it. That's a bit over the KBB value, but the miles are very low so I guess that almost makes up for it. Is there anything I should look for when I go in to check it out? Any problems to look out for? Never bought a car before and I'm planning on putting a little down as a down payment and financing the rest if it helps.

All help is appreciated :smokin

Thinking about getting rid of my TL and getting an A5, what are your guys thoughts about the A5? I just love the way it looks but i'm not sure how it compares in terrns of reliability and mechanical issues compared to acuras
The 3.2L is probably one of Audi's most reliable engines. I would stick with that if you dont plan on modding the engine. Nice power out of the box and great reliability. The 2.0t has alot more mod potential but the headaches that come with a FI car.

Just remembered I MIGHT be coming in to some money soon

So I MIGHT be able to cop one of my dream cars soon

Just playing the waiting game now

My girl wants to trade in her car for an Audi A5. I keep telling her no, but she is set on getting one.

Is she better off leasing it? She won't be putting a lot of miles on it, since her works is literally 2-3 miles away.

Yeah, the z/28 priced alot of people out. Its also very bare bones and it's track numbers aren't a whole lot better than the ZL1. The ZL1 is a much better overall value but some people prefer the raw experience the z/28 offers.

I believe Mopar has a Viper sourced v10 Super Stock car available to compete with the COPO. I don't think Ford has a purpose built turn key strip car at the moment. They did have the FR series for the early S-197 cars, but those were more track oriented. I don't think they've had anything like that since the S-197 mid cycle refresh.

Ford's been making the Cobra Jet for a while now.. I wanna say around 09 is when they started it. It's a turn key strip car.

What year is your TL?

Here's mines.  I had a Lexus GS before this.  I think someone else in this thread has a black one like mines.

I haven't had any problems yet (Knocks on wood) but it definitely won't be as reliable as an Acura.  I do enjoy driving a lot more than my previous Lexus' and Acuras.  The quattro handles like it's on rails.  And it's definitely a beautiful car.  I get compliments everywhere I go.

What year is your Audi? It is a beauty

And I can post a video of Lamborghinis and Ferraris doing the same thing :rolleyes
There's idiots in every car scene

On another note....dudes is sleeping on the next gen stangs

Please show me a video of multiple Ferrari or Lamborghini owners at the SAME event crashing their cars while doing burnouts.

We're definitely on the same wavelength. When I got mine, I was so excited to push this car to it's limits but it got old quick and for the money you have to put into this car when you can just get a better platform for less, I can say I may have jumped the gun a bit too early on this vehicle. Should've just got an S2K off the bat :rolleyes

agree 100%; I remember driving home from the dealer and it wasn't highway and I whipped the car around corners thinking; this is a sweet whip but whenI really started getting on highways and straight roads you really realize how bad the power is on it

lol im confused. didn't you expect that? its 200hp NA. i thought people bought it knowing that it won't have power (stock at least, the FA motor can go ham if modded and tuned, word to the crawford BRZ). Subaru and Toyota know this as well. i think the point of the car is that you get a great sports car that is supposed to be fun to drive, regardless of the ok power. and as i understand, the BRZ has been a hot seller. it looks fire imo too.

now if u wanted to upgrade to this tho..

Did you guys not go for test drives or anything before buying?

What's the name of that site that shows u whether the price of the car is fair, high, etc.?

I know someone posted it a while back...

seen this the other day, guy was driving like he owned the road. I don't think it was an M3, badge flossing or nah? :nerd:

Question with dealing with certified pre-owned vehicles?

Do I have to get it serviced where I purchased
It or can I can go anywhere? As long as it's a jeep dealership.

Pretty much found the SUV I want.

2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with 45k on the clock.

70th Anna with the Navi.

Asking 26k.

Add a couple grand to that and get a 2010 Jeep Srt8. If your in NJ you definitely could find one around that mileage or better. Thank me later.

You can go to any dealership. That's how it is at least for me and my infiniti. The dealership I purchased the car from is like an hour away but I go to a closer one for service. I can even take it to nissan dealers if I needed to.

Ive seen this a few times, dont know if some BMW dealerships put these on their M-Sports but ive seen em on enough Bimmers to assume its stock.

2010 gen is cool but the 2011+ JGC is just leaps and bounds better.
Hate the 2010 body style.

No need for thanks.
Dont let AirSpider see this.
