\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

Fellas been looking at getting this 2008 M3. I offered him $23k, but clutch never been done and throttle body actuators never been changed. Has 90k miles on it, am I tripping?

I'd say thats a fair price to have in mind. But you know that NT will call you crazy for wanting to spend that much on a near decade old used german luxury car.

Personally I'd get a good mechanic to check it out before making a stern offer.

Don't even do that. Get a newer 335 and tune it if you really want that extra HP

also that Lexus LC is looking very very nice. I wish it was more sports car butLexus is saying that each individual worker will spend 20 minutes on the car

I agree. Even take a look at the 135M if you want a car that can be made very very fast

da nice chap is offering da original forged 19's tii...and it has alot of after market parts.

i still personally wouldn't buy it but there's a good chunk of value you're getting coppin someone's old pet full of mods.

The only reason I even entertained was because of the parts and wheels. But off rip that clutch is going to be $4k and the TBAs $3200. That's $7k give or take to get it right. Car going to cost $30k, I'd rather keep my STi.

Maaaaaaan, y'all are gonna push me over the edge

. Lately the swirls and minor scratches have been driving me nuts, especially when the sun is out. Been debating for the past couple weeks about taking the truck to the detailer and getting it cut polished. They said they'd do it for 275, and put about 5-6 hours into it, which seemed reasonable.
If you plan on keeping that car for a while, get the paint corrected followed by ceramic coating. It's expensive, but i've seen it first hand and it's well worth it.

We consigned a 2008 Shelby Mustang that had been ceramic coated about 2 years before, and all we had to do to get it showroom ready was wash it, no polishing or anything, it looked freshly paint corrected after a simple wash. its incredible stuff and the ONLY way id ever own a black car.

Nah we've been over this before. 335 will never be an M3, regardless of how much power it has.

Anyway, @humpasaurus rex, if the car checks out ok, i'd pay 20k for it.  If you keep looking you could find one with like 80k miles for $23k
