what program are you using? and are you on a mac or pc??? i updated mine on purpose just because.....and i jailbroke it after about trying it for two weeks, smh. but i kind of regret doing that because now i can't tether with mywi

Just bought an Ipod Touch.

Is there a way to keep my Ipod synced with my Itunes without losing movies that I got from a different Itunes?

I wanna keep it synced and not do it manually because I'm always fixing/updating my Itune's library information.
 
I just sold my iphone 3gs on craigslist. I want to clean it up before selling it. Can I just do the General ->Reset-> Erase All Content and Settings and still retain the jailbreak AND the unlock? Help please?
 
Anybody with tmobile still have internet working??

I woke up this morning and for some reason my internet is not connecting..the APN is the same I didnt change anything...HELP!!!
 
so i was updating my cydnia removing themes i didnt like and somehow my lockscreen clock dissappeared (the date and time are no longer where they normally used to be when my ipod locked or is charging). How can I bring it back? Are there any other options besides restoring my ipod?
 
Didn't have patience to wait for the 3.1.3 jailbreak so I downgraded to 3.1.2 then did Blackra1n. Worked perfectly and only took 20 minutes (including the 3.1.2 firmware download). Way easier than I thought it would be.

How did you downgrade? Every attempt ive tried ends in a error
 
can anyone help me out
i had my old 1st generation iphone had it unlocked and today I just reset it and it also upgraded to 3.1.3;
I was just going to use it for an ipod, but on the main screen it has the picture of cable to itunes and it says
"insert a valid sim" when i connect it to itunes it just loads and says the same thing. I dont want to use it as a phone
does anyone know how to get passed the screen?

i cant help u. but this happened to me on 2-3 iphones i tried to jailbreak, i usualy just unplugged it, plugged it back in, ran blackra1n again and it would like "pick up" where it left off. i ono. you should have custom restored to 3.1.2

i cant help u. but this happened to me on 2-3 iphones i tried to jailbreak, i usualy just unplugged it, plugged it back in, ran blackra1n again and it would like "pick up" where it left off. i ono. you should have custom restored to 3.1.2


iTunes doesn't recognize 3.1.2 anymore so I can't just custom restore to it.  But I tried to downgrade using my Cydia backup and got as far as trying to open tinytss and it wouldn't open up.  On the cool I think it has to do with tinytss working with Windows 7.  I don't know but this $@@@ for the birds mayne.  Plain *++ phone with no games FTL!!!

Just watch this video starting 2:18 and he'll tell you all you need to know about downgrading from 3.1.3 to 3.1.2 (then just install blackra1n like you did the first time around after you downgrade successfully). However, iHust1e just told me it doesn't work for the 3rd generation iPod touch. So for those of you that have the new one (32gb, 64gb), you might be out of luck for now.

use snowbreeze 0.9.2 but you have to restore your iphone with the correct firmware first or this wont work. Use mecks website and find your current firmware. After you download the firmware open Itunes and hold shift and click restore and it will ask your for a file, pick the firmware you downloaded. After that open snowbreeze and it will have you hold the power and home button for a certain amout of seconds and then it will patch your iphone. if you screw up you have to restart everything
 
Is it worth it? I'm dumping my Sidekick LX after 2 1/2 years of service, and the iPhone has piqued my interest. I got a guy that'll unlock it for me for 25.00.
 
Is there a way to change the player without SSHing?? Speaking of SSH, is it hard to do??
