Are Ipod touch 3rd generation MC models able to be jailbroken with out having to be a tethered ????

dont like this inconvenience of everytime it turns off , i have to do it again

word on the interwebz is that 3.2 is dropping soon. hopefully the unlock comes out asap.

anyone here know how to backup my apps? i got a jailbroken iphone 3.1.3... it's basically an ipod touch cause i can't use it as a phone until the new unlock comes out... if i upgrade to the newest firmware, i'll lose all my apps right? i haven't synced it to itunes because i need a sim card... any help would be appreciated..

It's a mod, i made the status bar invisible and modded the UILCDBackground.

Whenever I apply new themes from Cydia, my background changes but, my icons and dock still remain the same as the factory layout.

Even when I open SSH, my springboard still has the original factory icons and dock.
(I can ONLY change the transparent dock that originally comes w/ WinterBoard) 

How do I fix this problem?

It's a program called Iconoclasm. It's on a Cydia repo for free.

i just watched some ssh videos and it ain't too bad... the tutorial vids really help a lot.. i got the iBox setup... they got thousands of icons to go with the theme

anyways...

can someone school me on how to have this on my lockscreen? i want the same setupexcept for 2 things. instead of FB, is there any way to get ESPN headlines? and instead of mail, i want it to be messages? thanks for the help
