There’s an odd refusal to put these cool patches on plain janes. Is there a royal blue grey under la coliseum cap? I don’t think I’ve seen one.

IIRC the hat club sangria is a grey bottom, but most have released on color UVs

I had seen a collection photo you posted up awhile back of all the colis you had side by side and not seeing a single royal/dodger blue was a bit shocking. But then it made sense in a way. I don’t think it came out in team colors more than maybe once or twice. And if you have a plain Jane already, why go for a duplicate? A part of me just wants to see these unique side patches shown on plain janes with grey unders or Kelly green unders. And now with coli being exitinct, I don’t know if a basic royal (non blue or pinky) exists. That’s the cap with staying power 15-20 years from now.
I see it with some of the twins newer side patches I’m after. Great logos I’ve never seen before but now that topperz is gone, I just don’t see some of these popping up in team colors

I loved space center growing up here but that hat isn’t doing much for me. Im not sure if it’s the city connect logo/hat or what but looks off to me. I appreciate the look though.

I don't do social and luckily my buddy brought me with him to the last drop at Sneaker Summit he said location was TBD (told him Id bet Sneaker Summit) bun had some hats drop there in the past. We pulled up 10 minutes after the location dropped it was mahem lmao dudes running across teaffic parking illgally, someone tried to skip the line and a minor boxing altercation insued lmao. Not until i saw you as i paid i put two and two together lol. I legit walked away with the last size 8 pudge my buddies with a last few yotes. (I so wanted that nolan, still do) I hooked my big head homeboy up with the pudge and did get the hat club UGK aux pack trading with him for it. I'm still yet to own me a ty special. Since I only really do my home houston teams, this might be my best shot. Keep up the heat, you're drop may have pulled out more than the hatclub popup they did here shortly before you. We were around #50 or so in line and as we left that line stretched to what burger and all the way around the next block. Sports treasures also had a drop that day my other buddy hit instead and they dropped the limit of one per person, because noone showed lol every hat dude here was at youres I'm sure.
Line in Front of me, it wrapped a block back and all the way around within about 30 minutes lol.
Edit: one of the two little seqaubling matches lmao. Gown *** men smh...
Same guy in the black was in the second scramble also (almost every drop smh) he trues to cut and these dudes don't play lol. He kept trying to cut the line again, and well pink shirt guy ( a food friend, we call him the cut police) he's always regulating the lines. When his chonklas come off a fight is about to pop off lol.
Second dude was ready put someone in a body bag though, he was in a Heinekin Hatclub beerpack hat, and sonics jersey (I think) ... needless to say it was about only about 10am and he was walking around with a case of Heineken just sippin hard lmao. So he was bound to fight someone sooner or later... dude in the black SUC shirt and Heineken dude got bounced after some words and shoves, but as they walked away close by the Whataburger, black shirt dude just kept talking crazy mess and guess Heinekin dude had enough i guess, took a running start in the middle of the street and swung with all his might in the to the back of the head... and would have pummeled (maybe killed) SUC shirt dude, had he not been drinking so much Heineken lol He missed and just grazed him, dude still fell in the street. Definitely one of the wildest hat drops I've ever been to. Was like a wilder Jordan drop from the 2000 11s pr something. SMH

can we get maybe a Houston NT memner 15 minute head start next drop ( I dont use social media). I do all local drops, and this was the first one I took a HUGE L on... I did manage to get the very last Size 8 Pudge, made a good trade for it, but I need one of you're caps in my collection like ASAP. Texas always loves having you, I saw cats I knew and haven't seen since college there from; Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, Laredo, Brownsville, Beaumont and Port Auther. Seems like you brought the whole state out just about.

Only wear the Houston teams also and I’m perfectly fine with wearing on field items. Follow the usual local shops but damn, seems like every week there’s multiple hats releasing with lines etc.
Hopefully I’ll be able to get one of those to wear.

I mainly only mess with eightone (they're rolling out a monthly plan too guaranteed you're size each drop) most times if you buy a matching shirt before they also guarantee a hat, they do some pre-orders and resticks by demand (shipleys is supposedly coming back as is los astros ninfas). They got couple blue bell ice cream inspired dropping next and these astrodome
homerun scoreboard caps.
Bigg citycapzone at almeda and sharstown are the ones dropping sometimes twice a week, restocking, even double and triple drops in the same day. Just about evyone is pretty
though can't lie. Get in good with Stevo at shaprstown or Oscar at almeda it's a bit easier. They look out for the guys they know don't resale. Sports treasures in the galleria is starting to drop some now too, they've not been item long so it seems it took the a while to get going. Properhtx is also pretty easy pickup, they try to make sure fans get the hats. They'll do trivia questions and if you get it wrong back to the line you go lol. I cut for that, it's hilarious how many dude got questions wrong. One cat had a stros cap on with all star patch from 86' and they asked name any year that ll star game was I houston... dude said 2017 lmao. Most the local spots look out for fans not the resellers, and seldom even sell online unless it's a drop that doesn't sell out. It's a different culture in Houston a lot of these guys look out for each other. Lot of assists and back doors or early/resrved pickups.

99% of the people in that pic are dying to get one because they know they can make money selling it lol. Same with those long lines outside of Hatclub in NYC. Majority of those people make a living as professional resellers.
