$$$ Post Your TAX REFUND 2012 $$$

Can someone explain how one owes money to the state? Does that mean you made too much and they didn't tax enough?

Still gotta fill out my W2 and everything, hopefully can do that over spring break

My dad just took my little W2 along with his to get done, I ended up getting ~700 back form my summer internship...I'm happy w/ that being a broke college kid

I filed on Jan 27 and was suppose to get my refund back feb 8, I called dude who did my taxes & he said the IRS put all refunds on back order 2 weeks. Did anybody else hear this?

Thats what i would like to know how you all are owing the state. I never heard of that

I filed on Jan 27 and was suppose to get my refund back feb 8, I called dude who did my taxes & he said the IRS put all refunds on back order 2 weeks. Did anybody else hear this?

yea somewhat but you are getting played. Only people who have 2 week delay are those who filed during the time jan 17th to 25th or so, but even know the irs said they are caught up

Haven't filed yet, but last year I got back 4800. I claimed one, the previous year I got back 4900, claimed one. This year, probably similar.

4U2C: Last Saturday the money was in my account. ON 2/4 THE MONEY WAS IN MY ACCOUNT. Posting date on my online banking of 2/6 because weekends carryover to the next business day. Notice on the chart you posted it says "projected."

Don't ever send me a PM again.

quit lying. no way you would get it that fast and also if you did it on jan  30 or 31st, the earliest you would get it would be on FEB 8th..  I went by this chart every year and its been dead on year after year

Well, for 99% of you... (LOL) H&R block won't do anything for you that you can't do yourself. There is online software programs that are free up to a certain income level. And you can always print out the forms and follow the instructions for each line. If you can read and do math, doing your own taxes could be a great way to save money!

Again, I'm curious. How much do some of you pay to have your taxes done for you?
