We'll just have to agree to disagree then.
Should've just stopped there.
Because I can sit and watch DB right now and enjoy it more tan YuYu, Death Note, and Berserk. Nostalgia aside. Its just better to me.
That just sounds like nostalgia mixed with denial to me. Like how are you putting you nostalgia aside? Erasing your childhood memories?

:lol @ comparing the Notebook to Ironman in your example to compare this. Way off base.

To be honest , a few years ago I downloaded all dbz that I missed (right past the cell saga all all the way thru GT)to watch.

I actually enjoy enjoyed it more than when I was younger. Maybe because I didnt have to wait a ******* week for a fight to finish :lol

To all my balding bros out there, if you can look at yourself and picture yourself bald, it's time to let it go. Don't go the Stephen A Smith route.

I saw all of them as a child beside Death Note. So its really an even playing field when I judge them. Its not like I only saw DBZ as a kid.

My man said character development and Goku :rollin

He did though. From DB to the end of Z (cause I don't count that garbage GT), Goku actually had development.

You're just cutting DBZ short because all your memories are filled with filler episodes waiting for that next fight.

All the DBZ slander gotta stop

Oh you poor to watch Arthur now?
"nothing topped arthur" is complete lies unless you didn't have any other shows to compare it to.

cartoon cartoon friday, nickelodeon and disney were way better than arthur.

the only thing i 'had' to watch on public television was saturday mornings cartoons.

character development = Piccolo

and somewhat Vegeta.

Vegeta by far experienced the most development. Then came gohan then piccolo and then android 18. After that no one else experienced any real character development. They were pretty much the same person for the entire series.

So we're going to act like Goku coming to earth, being adopted by a human, being taught human ways, learning martial arts from Master Roshi and meeting Krillin developing a friendship, meeting bulma and getting married, meeting his arch nemesis piccolo only later to become an ally, having a son, meeting his biological brother and learning his true heritage and background, dying and meeting King Kai and learning new techniques in another world, coming back eclipsing everyone in power, going to another planet afterwards and unlocking legendary powers only thought to be a myth by the universe ain't the most character development in the series?

Ok.

****, I ain't even go past Freeza...

Please, tell me what Vegeta and Piccolo have done to scratch the surface of what Goku has done?

Oh, Vegeta's dad died and he learned to either roll with Goku or get his *** whooped :lol

And throughout it all Goku stayed the same person. He had experiences but didn't develop from them personality-wise and that's what character development is about. All he learned was to not be naive and soft anymore and just finish opponents after his experiences with Frieza. That's it.
