Problem Lacing xii's

i searched but could not find a topic about how to lace the xii's so that the "Two 3" shows need help pics?

you can lace them straight across instead of crossing the laces like a x

i dont think its possible really unless you tie them so tight that the tongue doesnt move....i gave up on that a long time ago
