Yo could someone hook me up with some help on getting my downloads faster?

I'm getting like 1 MB/minute, and trying to download some games, it's damn near impossible, and sometimes it just stops completely.

I've tried messing with my firewall settings, didn't do much, probably because I'm not sure what I'm doing.

I know it doesn't help, but I don't have an ethernet cable.

Your speed will increase drastically if you get wired. That or cut some of your wireless stuff off when you're playing/downloading.

I actually found an ethernet cable.

It's currently going about 3 MB/minute, which is still kind of slow IMO.

I have it connected to my laptop, not my router.

It's kind of hard to get my PS3 to my router, it's two rooms away, and it's a pain to get my PS3 out of my setup.

If it's connected from my laptop (that I'm posting from), to my PS3, would that suffice?

Kinda a noob question but if I to run a 25 feet CAT 5 cable from my DSL modem to my PS3 would that make my internet slower? Will the internet speed stay the same or get slower ? I'm using the default 6 feet cable that came with the ps3. I want to buy a 25 feet cable

yeah itll work, you just have to go to your network connections, select your wireless connection, and allow other network users to connect through the laptops internet connection under "internet connection sharing"  - at least for XP

March 30, 2010 - Final Fantasy XIV splits its races into multiple tribes. Previously, Square Enix mentioned the Hyur Midlander and Highlander tribes, but now we have details and media on the rest.

Hyur
Split into Midlander and Highlander types. Midlanders take up the majority of the population and exist throughout the land. The large-framed Highlanders originate from the northern highlands, but following the fall of their capital city of Aramigo have become a rare sight.

Miqo'te
Split into Seekers of the Sun and Keepers of the Moon. The Seekers of the Sun are active during the day and believe in the god Arzema. The Keepers of the Moon are nocturnal and believe in the moon god Manefina.

Lalafell
Split into Plainsfolk and Dunesfolk types. The Dunesfolk live in desert and lead a nomadic herdsman life. The Plainsfolk reside in thatched-roof housing and are capable of hearing even faint footsteps.

Elezen
Split into Forester and Shader types. Foresters lived for hundreds of years deep in the forst, but in recent times have either adapted to city life or moved back to a nomadic life on the fields. Shaders resided in dark caves. Many still do so and have turned to thievery. The Shaders have disdain for the Foresters.

Roegadyn
Split into Seewolf and Lohengarde types. The Lohengarde live around a volcanic crater that they believe to be the gate to hell. They're equipped in the magic arts. The Seewolf types came from the northern seas as pirates and are now seen working as sailers.

I don't have a Go, I have the latest model before the Go,

That's the PSP I have, and the current stick I have is the Memory Stick PRO Duo, just 1 GB though.

I want to throw FF 7/8 and 9 when it comes out onto my PSP, but the 1 gig obviously won't cut it.

So, someone? Hook me up with a link for an 8 gig stick?

I think this is a pretty good deal. I should of got this one instead of a 4gb for $20.

Someone could probably find you a better one though.

Red Dead Redemption's Trophy List Unveiled With New Screens

Rockstar has revealed the complete trophy list for Red Dead Redemption and they're an interesting bunch.

Trophies for killing and skinning bears, breaking in wild horses and acquiring certain items like the Mauser pistol or elegant suit are all rewarded, although the level of trophy granted for each is currently unknown.

In addition to the 35 listed here, there are 13 secret trophies that you'll have to wait until the game's release in mid-May to figure out. We're willing to bet that they're story-based though.

There are six new screens illustrating some of the game's trophies, which you can see via the gallery.

Austin Overpowered
Complete Twin Rocks, Pike's Basin, and Gaptooth Breach Hideouts in Single Player.

Bearly Legal
Kill and skin 18 grizzly bears.

Buckin' Awesome

I wont post it all, but it sounds like a traditional action RPG a few people have been wishing would come out... just wade through IGN's subtle hatred of RPG's.

Nier is straight weird. There's some parts where it's an RPG, some parts where it's god of war, some parts where it looks like diablo and some parts where it's a 2d platformer.
