It's probably been a while since you rallied your clan beneath the sacred banner of your PMC of choice for a 256-player skirmish in the conflict-torn battlefields of MAG. Today's as good a day as any to call your old war buddies to arms -- Zipper Interactive has activated patch 2.0 for the game, which introduces a wide variety of sweeping changes to a number of gameplay mechanics and character progression systems. The developer also increased the game's level cap, added Move support, and introduced a "clan deploy" feature, which lets your entire clan queue up for a match. Convenient!

Also, they bumped up the maximum number of players in a single game to 257, and man, you can really tell the difference. That one dude adds a level of intensity that -- okay, fine, that's not one of the changes. The real changes can be read after the jump.http://


Gameplay (General)

  • Character level cap has been increased from level 60
    to level 70
  • Added new "Supply Depot" menu and in-game economy
    system (see "Gameplay – Economy" section for details)
  • Implemented new "Clan Deploy" feature that allows
    Clan Leaders and Officers to deploy into group queues of up to
    128 players
  • Characters moving from MAG v1.XX to MAG 2.0 will
    receive an immediate and automatic Respec the first time they
    log in
  • Repair Kits can now inflict damage on enemy soldiers,
    vehicles and objectives
  • XP rate for "Repair" has been increased from 1.5XP/
    10pts to 3XP/ 10pts
  • Players can now track all "sprinting" enemies on the
    mini-map without the need for equipment
  • All "Damage Bar" rates for "Domination" maps have
    reverted back to their original (and identical) values
  • Tuned the frequency in which a player can jump to
    eliminate "bunny hopper" techniques
  • Reduced helicopter settle time, widened turret
    rotation and significantly increased health to strengthen their
    use as a forward spawn point
  • The "Silent Step" OIC Leadership ability now works as
    intended by allowing nearby squadmates to move at both regular
    and running speeds without detection from the motion sensor –

    level 1, walking at level 2 and sprinting at level 3
  • Light/ Improved Light Armor base speed has been
    reduced by nearly 3%
  • Heavy/ Improved Heavy Armor base speed has been

my ps3 wont read discs...copped a slim

but dont have the maps now for MW2...can i get the maps from my old to my new with a flash drive

if so how do i do that...i went onto my old ps3 and copied but it didnt work...i think im missing something

or should i just buy a non crossover ethernet cable and do it that way?

lets say I sell my 60 gig PS3.  If I do a factory reset before selling it will that deactivate my account?

Then when I get a slim I can just activate JUST_BOB and I can download all my maps and stuff?  I also have no more game shares cus I used all up  that y I ask.

i dont think so you have to deactivate it then do a factory restore

thats weird i used a regular Ethernet card and it works   
 
If I'm not mistaken, shouldn't the maps be in your "Past Downloads" on PSN anyway? if so, you can just download them again.

Canada has alot more stringent rules, as well as alot less Mom and Pop joints that usually release em early.
 
Copped Mafia II, so far so good. Graphics are pretty crazy. I got NBA2k11 coming next week and Dead Rising II. Than Gran Turismo 5 next month!

If I am not mistaking you need a crossover cable if you are connecting the two PS3's directly. Or you can use a Hub/Switch and 2 Straight Through Cables. Or If you have wi-fi router you can connect them over the Network that the wi-fi router is broadcasting. If I am wrong someone please correct me but I am sure this is right and I hope it works for you.

As was done with other Final Fantasy titles, Final Fantasy XIIIrecently received its own ‘Ultimania Omega’ book in Japan. The bookcontains interviews and behind-the-scenes discussions with thedevelopment team, revealing interesting new details.

The team had planned downloadable content, titled ‘Seventh Ark’, for Final Fantasy XIII.Originally, the downloadable content was intended to be included in thefull game, but it was taken out after the team’s hectic developmentschedule caught up to them. The area would’ve been accessible throughthe third warp gate in Orphan’s Cradle. Although, after technicalproblems reared their ugly heads, including those involved withPlayStation 3 and Xbox 360’s different download platforms, the teamcancelled the project. On top of that, the team did not believe thecontent would live up to expectations. The book contains twoscreenshots showing the a work-in-progress version of the cancelledlocation.

Also in the book: producer Yoshinori Kitase touched upon a Final Fantasy XIIIsequel, as well. He said that if there’s demand, it could very wellhappen. For now, though, the team has moved onto their next project.Kitase wants them to steadily be able to release a new game every twoyears.
