Because it's NT. I remember a cat posting up his boat shoes 2+ yrs ago and cats were clowning on him.
FYI, Costco carries Sperry boat shoes too. $35-40 I believe.

Copped My Sperry Top Sliders Last Spring ... with no socks was my staple all summer .... My pair is looking real hurt now though , they have turned into myhouse slippers

if you planning on dancing, neither, I only wear loafers or boat shoes if im going to a lounge.

well take in consideration to the club you are going.
1. Dress code and how strict they are
2. A night of clubbing is going to destroy whatever shoe you are wearing, so keep that in mind.
3. COmfort, you are gonna be on your feet all night.
Personally i wouldnt wear my boat shoes or loafer if im going to to dance, thats just screaming to get them real messed up.
But like i said, a nice lounge where you can mingle and drink, loafers and boat shoes are perfect.
I usually wear my beater jack purcells, or mainly any all black shoe that isnt a blatant sneaker.
