I did. They added extra footage of the wilderness. Knowing that it was filmed in 70mm I paid attention to the camera work and the framing. One shot that stood out in particular was when Sam Jackson and Bob were coming in from the snow. It was shot from the window, zooms out to reveal Joe Gauge, then pans around the room, all in one shot. It shows how much detail they were able to capture and how wide they were able to shoot the film.

nice stuff. i appreciate good cinematography that really encompasses the visual landscape of where the film's setting is, particularly if its in the wilderness.
nolan does this well.
top gear was fantastic at this.
there is a company called brainfarm that does this for their snowboarding movies like the art of flight.

Ahh no wonder, might try to see the 70mm. I was wondering why those long *** shots of nothing. I thought when Kurt Russel first said "black fella " it was qt humorously acknowledging his n word criticism, it sounded so out of place. But soon after he went right to it, smh.

Fassbenders characters name was Archie Hicox. QT acknowledged that Tim Roth's character was Archie Hicox's grandfather.
Also, not really H8 related, but did anybody see that QT is being sued for Django script? "Hundreds of Millions" FOH, this is gonna get laughed at in court.

Movies started with me lamenting how similar it was to Django.
From Mannix on I was enthralled and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Probably my favorite part besides Sam jacks story, was every person coming through the busted front door and blaming Senor Bob automatically. Then it really ended up being his fault the door

I love this movie. I love Tarantino anything though.
I've watched his interviews and on movies like this he says his use of the N word is to show how casually racist people can be. Especially the ones set in times periods like this. It definitely seem over the top at points but I dont' think it's because he's racist or anything. He just likes to drive home a point about racial divide.

I mean, the actors are always great, but his dialogue, man. His dialogue is so good. Every word pushes the story along and has meaning.
And when a line is supposed to hit, it hits...because everything before that had been pushing in that direction already.

Maybe I need to watch the movie again because the dialogue in the first half of the movie didn't really captivate me like it seemed to with a lot of you guys. Weird since I enjoy what QT writes. The second half of the movie interested me more when it was getting more tense.

The second Major Warren got in the coach I was captivated by the time Mannix shows up the movie already became one of my favs.
Goggins completely nailed his character. Playing off Jackson and Russell had him looking like a star.
The dialogue had me before they reached Minnie's. Things just revved up from there with Bob and co.
