R.I.P Kobe Bryant.

Are you slow?

He has a 17 year old daughter. So how old do you think he was? Do you think he would have said that with kids and a wife?

Did you watch the interview? No. You read a damn article without context. TMac talked about their relationship when they first started in the NBA and then how it changed.

Please exit this thread, before I stop being nice.
Yeah this was when they were like 17/18, with Tmac staying at his Kobe's parents house. Genuine kids stuff, TMac tearfully said so in the interview.

People who still think that’s what Kobe wanted obviously aren't parents. Once you become a father or mother not just have a kid everything changeS. There is no word in the English language that can express how much you love and care for them so the last thing you want to do is leave them.

Just landed at LAX about an hour ago. I’m going straight to Staples Center. This was the first thing I saw when I got on the train. This is still real tough to process to me.

Reach for straws all you want. I don’t believe he was that young. I think he was an adult on lakers but what’s your source? Based on how Bryant was I can def see him saying this and more as a grown man.

Mike got folks out here wanting to risk it all to try n be better than him. That’s the sign of one bad man! Either way it didn’t work...
Imjustsayin YOU SOUND LIKE A IDIOT, imjustsayin.

Going back to someone here saying Kobe only won 1 league mvp, just reminded me about how he was robbed of one by Steve Nash.

One of my many fav Kobe moments and it really shows what type of mentality Kobe had, was when he dislocated his finger mid game, walked over to the sideline medical staff and they just popped his finger back in and he went back in the game like nothing. Legend.

I'm going on a limb and saying this is bigger than mike. especially once the drug and OD news came out. Took a lot of steam out of it. Plus the controversy and lots of people's hard feelings about that. Mike passing was devastating, and a complete surprise, but oding on drugs zaps a lot of peoples sympathy, because people look at it like it's your fault...which it is. A helicopter crash touches people differently

this is bigger imo.

Yeah, I agree. However, there are so many people who love him for the wrong reasons as well, with some wonderful examples on this very site/thread.
There's no wrong reason to love someone. Unless it's serial killing and you love their technique.

I'm with you on that. I still can't even wrap my head that a Superbowl will be played in exactly 2 days from now.
Exactly man. I haven’t watched anything sports related since he transitioned. I might try to tune it but I won’t be all the way into it. **** is hard.

Yes there is a wrong reason for loving someone, and it is called being superficial. Everything is groovy, until the object of your affection says or does something that you do not like. Groupies.

Crazy and sad sight. I’m at lids to get nip embroidered on my hat and there’s a 20 person line. People all decked out for it. One guy was so emotional preaching to the line... I better get kobe on my other hat lol.

The dumb *** pilot should have turned around damnit man smfh.
You never know. Kobe could’ve coaxed the pilot into getting to the facility at a certain time. There are too many scenarios and nobody knows how it happened. But safety shudve been paramount. What’s the point of getting to a game if your life and others lives were at risk. This should’ve have never happened to someone on kobe’s level. **** if any of us dropped in a plane nobody would bat a lash. Transportation accidents shudnt happen period just to shave off some minutes

I don't think I'm ready for tonight :frown:

Driving past downtown the whole week on my way home hits me every time.

I know LA Live is going to be crazy the whole day today. I'm glad I went Monday & Tuesday to experience all the love and support everyone has for Kobe, Gigi and the rest of the victims.

Hope everyone in here stays safe tonight, this whole week is something I'll never forget and I appreciate reading everyone's own little personal story about what Kobe meant to them. He really did define a generation and was bigger than basketball :pimp:
