"Our birthdays are only one day apart".

On the real though, the whole set must be feeling some type of way right now.

Dang. RIP Paul. As a car enthusiast myself, I always loved the F&F series. Heck, even though the first one had some pretty cheesy parts, it's still one of my favorite movies ever. I honestly still can't believe this.

RIP

Was hoping this was another bad twitter rumor, unfortunately it isn't. :{

I think they just start shooting F&F 7 2 weeks ago

Damn this is sad news. The odds man! :{

Dude really did seem like the type of guy no one could hate...SMFH!!

I legit hated dude in The Skulls.

He was at a charity event bringing toys for the underprivileged children also. :(

https://www.facebook.com/aeperformance

he wasn't at an event, he was in a car that had to be going in excess of 100. Porsche basically disintegrated. No way I'm a passenger in a car going that fast. If I'm not behind the wheel, I'm not down with it.

He was on his way to/coming from a charity event. That's been confirmed by his own management.

Damn sad to hear about this passing. Seemed a real chill dude, and clearly adored by his peers and Fast & Furious-fam. I would assume Fast 7 will be rewritten.

R.I.P.

Im still so shocked about this. When uou hear news of someone you just cant grasp your mind around. None of us know this guy personally but growing from when I was in middle school watching movies he was in you just feel like you know a piece of him. So sad to hear it, F&F wont be the same.

If Fast 7 hasnt finished being filmed yet, i wonder will they use his twin brother to finish it out eventually, send off O'Connor with a death in the film or just scrap the movie?

he has a twin?

Always seemed like a good dude outside of the movies and loved most of his work. Condolences to his family and friends, RIP

From Reddit:

I'm posting this with a throw away account because I don't want to profit from this tragedy, but here are some facts about the accident today that everyone needs to know:
I was at the event an hour before the crash and 3 of my close friends were first responders at the scene.
Paul was NOT driving the car, the car was being driven by Roger Rodas, his business partner at Always Evolving
They were NOT street racing - There was no other car involved
The only car involved was a Porsche Carrera GT owned by Always Evolving, which is part owned by Paul Walker
The crash happened on a quiet industrial area, directly in front of the AE shop
Paul was there to support a Christmas Toy Drive - This was NOT a racing event / underground street race / anything of the sort
Roger lost control of the car, spun, hit a pole and the car broke in half and burned
Edit: There were NO DRUGS and NO ALCOHOL involved, at all. There was zero alcohol at the event.
Paul was a very casual acquaintance of mine, I doubt if he even remembers who I was, but he was very close friends with a good friend of mine - Paul was was very gracious to everyone he met and an overall nice guy.
Please help me dispel any rumors that could taint his memory - Yes, he was the Fast and Furious guy, but street racing and endangering lives was not his thing.
Paul has done great work with his charity Reach Out WorldWide[1] including sending medical teams and supplies to the Philippines recently.
Clarification: I was NOT at the scene and was not a witness, I left to go get some food and heard about the accident and the fire dept was already gone by the time I returned.
Edit this is where the crash happened. The AE shop is directly behind it. http://goo.gl/maps/J85LQ[2]
Edit 2 - For what it's worth, this is the event Paul was there to support[3] - If you want to donate in Paul's memory http://www.roww.org[4] would be the charity to donate to.

I can see them doing a montage at the end of F7 in his memory with deleted scenes and behind the scenes, is only right for his fans and FF fans, that would be a good way to close out the series.

As others have said, I don't usually pay much attention to celebrity deaths but this one truly saddens me. R.I.P. :( |I

The F&F films never caught my eye. They're alright. But Varsity blues was that movie for me.

RIP Paul :(
