All you have to understand is that a jury of 6 women didn't believe the case that the prosecution presented. Trying to understand what anyone else believes will just drive you crazy.

@ people thinking TM would've gotten off if he beat GZ to death. @ ninja thinking laws matter when he walks into a court room and is judged by his "peers"... please direct me to this mythical land where being a black man isn't enough reason to prosecute me...

My biggest problem is the investigation from the beginning. They never treated Zimmerman as a suspect even though Trayvon lay dead. They instantly believed him and he was treated like a witness. I don't think the prosecution ever really wanted to try the case, and it turned in to a half *** effort or maybe they were just overwhelmed by the magnitude and because it is a small city. The witnesses didn't seem properly prepped.

I had the chance to watch CNN last night and one of the lawyers on there said that once he saw the jury he knew this case was over with. Upon listening to the juror on CNN last night I began to really believe his statement. They went in 3 not guilt and 3 guilty and somehow came out 6 not guilty |I

exactly me too. We got dudes on here who say it's ok to hit a woman if she puts her hands on you but we see trayvon swing on Zimmerman and "oh GZ could not have put his hands on him first". You think Zimmerman is gonna say that he grabbed Trayvon's shirt to stop him? No, he's gonna say "I just wanted to talk to the guy and he punched me and knocked me down and got on top of me and pummeled me.

Thing is nobody but Zimmerman knows the true story. Since there were no witnesses to the whole fight it's pretty much impossible to convict him in the court of law. His story is the only side.

I think Trayvon could of gone home if he really wanted to. If he was really scared he could of outran Zimmerman easily and gotten home safely. There's two reasons I can think of as to why he didn't do that. First, he was a "thug" , was "about that life", and was just ready to fight. So he stuck around and confronted GZ who unfortunately for TM, GZ had a gun and got shot. The second would be if GZ pulled out his gun right away and told him not to move. But that doesn't make sense cus then why would there even be a fight? There wouldn't be one if GZ pulled his gun out right away.
A third reason though could be that GZ probably yelled at TM told him what he was doing, and TM turned around and the rest was history. But that doesn't make sense either because, for all GZ knows, TM is a burglar who might have a gun. So, I can't see GZ confronting TM first for that reason. Only way I see GZ confronting first is if for my second reason I mentioned above. But then there would be no fight if he did that. So all that said, the first reason makes more sense. TM wanted to be tough, ran up on GZ and got shot.
But idk man, I'm just speculating here. Who knows what exactly happened.

If you are a black person and you are noticed by neighborhood watch or otherwise while walking down your street you should....
Run home or
Freeze and explain yourself to this perfect stranger. hoepfully you are carrying your Black people identifcation card, stating who you belong to and what your business round here is.
Do not under any circumstances stand up for yourself. whatever this person wants you to do you better do it, because not doing so would make you an about that life thug.
If said unidentified person is a rapist, murderer, kidnapper or robber best of luck to you.

Suspensions, kicked out of mom's crib, guns, growing and selling narcotics, fighting your bus driver, fighting at school, caught with stolen items at school (later learned to be from a B&E that occured near his high school), breaking into lockers at school...just NORMAL teenage stuff.
Of course that's all you see Mr 1 post that just joined today. What was Zimmerman doing at age 15-17?
