That's the bottom line isn't it? One is dead, the other is alive... why? Cause one had a gun. That's why I think it's ridiculous that the govt wants to ban guns. I mean how are people suppose to protect themselves from the people that already own guns? In summary... armed yourselves! If others want to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights... then so should you!

1. The dudes in the Roderick case were ACTUALLY breaking into cars. I personally would have minded my own damn business like I was taught, but I see why a neighborhood watch person would go check out someone breaking into a car. Zimmerman on the other hand, his only reason to follow Trayvon Martin to begin with was because he was black with a hoodie. 7:30 is not some weird time where only burglars and drug dealers are allowed to be outside. That's the time where people walk their dogs, people go jogging, etc. so I am positive that is not the first person Zimmerman has seen outside with a hoodie on.
2. There were witnesses in the Roderick case that saw the kid charge at him, there were two other dudes with him. The only witness in the Zimmerman case is the one on trial, so he can make up whatever story he wants because there is no fact verification. What proof is there that Trayvon confronts, hits, and begins beating Zimmerman?
Also, I'm tired of people blaming non-blacks perception of black people to be tainted by media. That's a cop-out. We are the only race where we are expected to wear the negative stereotypes of our people from entertainment. We aren't the only ones with reality shows. Even if you wanna talk about the music culture, at this point, people are smart enough to know that every 17 year old in a hoodie isn't Chief Keef.

Where's the action of Sharpton and Jackson on the 700 teens killed yearly in Chicago? Guess there's no money to be made on black on black crime...because how can the killing of 1 teen by a Hispanic man be more important then 700? They need to eat their own cooking.

A white kid will kill another white kid at some point in some city this week and it won't be viewed as some part of a greater racial problem. Nobody cheapens white murders by saying whites kill each other in other situations

It's funny how they're quick to say that. Standard republican talking point. No real substance, but they think it's original.
The reality like I've been saying. Their news doesn't show it and they don't care about violence in Chicago. People have been complaining about violence in Chicago and trying to do something about it for decades, because gang culture is a part of their culture. Every weekend you get an update about how many people have been shot. It's actually lower than it was in the 80's.
