I need help finding a video. It's an interview with Pac and he was talking about how he doesn't respect the groupie mentality with females. He told a story about going to a house party and trying to approach a female and she dissed him cause she didn't recognize him. As soon as word got around the party that it was him, she was trying to get at him.

People being held out of industries and not being given an opportunity to improve those industries because of they are celebs, or black, or heterosexual etc etc ... it's discrimination, and it's stopping people from changing entire billion dollar industries.

Which is why i never understood how cats kept saying who cares about high fashion just make T-shirts, apparel etc etc. With the fanbase & influence he has in fashion he could print regular cotton T Shirts with some simple design and continually sell out and make millions. That's beneficial for him, but how does that help the next man trying to break into that industry it's been done a million times.

However now that he has access to the same vehicles these other major fashion houses have, if he manages to create at the same level or even surpasses what there doing, they can no longer use the he's an entertainer, he's a young black male excuse & say that success can't be had.

We constantly talk about how black youth is regulated to sports & entertainment, well here is a man trying his hardest to spear himself into other industries and people keep telling him do what you know, don't try and break walls down. It's not a logical way to think if people really want change.

I wish people would back away from the fact that it's Ye and think about any artist they may favor, having new ideas and concepts in a separate art form & constantly being denied the opportunity to do that because of their race or orientation. That's the message that's really important in this entire campaign he did.

The ENTIRE interview is about him & other people being discriminated against in these settings and being held back, him trying to build his own fashion powerhouse, from there moving on to create his own film studios & design teams.... and yet out of all of that you come to the conclusion that he wants to be a house negro.

The point of him trying to make it in that realm is so that every black man who's interested in that field don't have to answer to that specific demographic.

On average to start one of these high fashion companies it takes 100-200 million dollars. Kanye West doesn't have that.

Those prices are high because you have to pay for warehouses, fabric, adds, shows, tailors, storefronts..

Guess who owns and dictates ALL of those industries... European men. guess who those European men disproportionately back... other European men. This is the entire system that he's ranting against .


Ye doesn't have the amount of money needed to start up on his own, Just like A Jay-Z doesn't have the money to start up an entire music company on his own. Just like Diddy didn't have enough money to create his own cable network on his own.

These guys are doing big business in a world where everything is white owned, until they put themselves in positions to create their own industries (Which comes from showing success and building billion dollar companies) it will be like that forever.

So instead of complaining about black men partnering with white men to create a change in the system, ask yourself how that will ever change if you bash anyone who's attempting to change that system.

There is ONE black male who is at the head of his company in all of high end design ONE. he also happens to be homosexual, & isn't on the same tier material/design wise as his counterparts.

Yes compare a black man in America..... to a White woman in America because we know they get the same treatment from white men

BTW this resume that you claim he doesn't have..... he's helped design (not put his name on a product) with LV, A.P.C, Nike...... literally interned and sat with the major fashion houses in Paris for YEARS learning and producing with the best they have to offer, yet up until the Adidas deal he had no backing.

Now that he has the resources at his disposal, he has his opportunity to drop his college dropout in fashion... & if that happens he's going to **** the fashion game up the same way he did with rap, & by **** up i mean open the door for young people who don't carry the same prejudice & who are open the new ideals & ways of doing things.

That is the exact opposite of what any of these guys in power want. When you want all the power you don't wanna help anyone in a lesser situation create something new or better which may diminish your own power.

Hell this is basically VERBATIM what Cole was talking about in the interview that everyone was praising in this thread. One of Cole's biggest critiques in the interview was people at the top doing everything to make money and stopping creative people from improving on the world because it wouldn't be good for profit. That is literally what Kanye is fighting for, yet ya'll praise Cole for saying it & hate Ye for saying it?

The jigs up if you don't like his attitude, his music, etc etc fine that's no problem, but don't sit here and try to diminish the message of a man in a very powerful position, who's pushing for people to create to the best of their abilities to simply make things better. That's just corny.

He's delivering his message to the wrong people...we don't need to hear about what difficulties a multi multi mutli millionaire, world famous, bangin a bad *** chick, dude is having. He needs to take up his issues with the people he has the issues with. Instead of telling normal *** folks who barely make enough to get by about what problems a multi millionaire is having. 

He's ranting and complaining to us as if we would be able to help him out. Why he wastes energy complaining and all instead of going and getting it is beyond me.
