Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

I thought Bang or Ball was gonna be a trash album, **** was hard. He had a few joints on there.

Gillie in the video, Hahahaha. Is this where Baby and Wayne got their blood dreams from? Never thought about it before.

“Who bang who ride all day all night”

I always heard about Baby and Wayne and Jim Jones, I never heard they started banging (double entendre) because of Mack 10. It makes sense if that's why. About a year before then they were draped in blue flags. Hahahahaha

I believe baby and Wayne got that 5 star general ****, and when Wayne would throw the B sign over his eye and all that other **** from Jim and them. I dont what none of that mean tho. That's east coast blood stuff

Damn I thought it was common knowledge that Nick F wrote that verse, he's said it plenty of times and in multiple interviews. I'm guess him outing that lead to drake only using in house writers. A lot of people think the ghostwriting stuff started with QM, naw it started at the very beginning of Drakes career.

Dude really is an actor. Basically the same as the cats in empire.

It was all good just a week ago

Not sure if true or not but apparently Baby did not pay for the beat which may have been the start of all of this. In that case I could see how Wayne would jump to the conclusion that Mr. Me Too was about him and why he also made fun of Pharrell

This was around the Boo & Gotti CMR era, but I ****** with this song heavy. Baby even lightweight skated.

I never did hear that soundtrack, I think CM did a majority of it.

The goat rapping, non rapping duo

Played this till my hands hurt. Mannie did his thing on this soundtrack. :pimp:

This was a pretty nice album from him, just came at a bad time, basically a time of label flux and decline in quality albums

Timing was terrible. I was waiting on this, then the whole damn roster left a couple months before it dropped. Barely had any features and most of the features were trash.

Cash Money had a lot of misses after the Turk album. They really got lucky that Wayne got hot all of the sudden. They'd be done if he faded out.
