Wayne on “Neck of the woods”. You a damn hater if you can’t feel that!

I like all of them except Get It All Together. That song ain’t bad but the other three were always hard. Baby been cool as a rapper, not great but he can talk some ****.

wavycrocket wavycrocket how many copies of that Foxx album did you cop when Wipe Me Down came out? Not the TRILL album, the Foxx album.

Changing flows doesnt equate to having writers. HOV started sounding like Young Chris. Did he write for Hov?

Wait, y’all really out here in 2018 thinking Wayne didn’t have writers?

Oh boy.

dudes saying he got writers like he aint always just creatively talked abt selling dope **** and money

gillie might have taught him some stuff on how to structure **** but wayne **** not even that elaborate or crazy to where it would need more than one person getting high and just saying ****

Man you can tell Weezy had writers

Whole flow changed up each album...

Man I remember Super Sunday on the lake playing get your shine on (BG version).

There's a Mikkey Halstead record out there on youtube from like 03-04 that sounds EXACTLY like Carter 1-2 era Wayne

Ain’t nobody listening to no damn Foxx album :lol.

Funny you mention him....cuz I was bumping Foxx omw back home from work. He had some jawns. Got damn shame TRILL ENT broke up. Lil Phat was wilding...but shorty as dope too. If it wasn’t Boosie (THE GOAT), Webbie, Mouse or Phat....I wasn’t checking too hard for it.

To this day though....Foxx had one of THE best verses on Soft to hard. Undeniable :hat

@ 3:25

Then these classics :smokin

Mouse on the track :hat

People just have a hard time accepting that rappers have writers/co-writters/references...

It’s no difference than R&B. Why the double standard when it comes to this?

But let’s be real, why haven’t Wayne had a hot track since Carter 2?

500 degreez was such a big flop! I remember having that album and gave it away. Lights off, TBIH, Squad series were great for those Times.

What happened to Max Minelli? He put BR on the map along with Young Bleed and the Concentration Camp.

Stop lying, I know you had copies of that Foxx album.

Yup. Gilly taught Wayne the East Coast structure, ad libs and extra ****. But Wayne could always rap.

He got some verses today that still go. He just washed, raps in an annoying voice and over bad beats now....and nobody wants to hear from him anymore.
