Lupe was in a good spot. He got real fake deep, smart dumb on _'s. Now he just sound real bitter about Kendrick becoming what he shoulda been.

Lupe became OD pretentious at one point. Then like you said...a lil bitter. And the struggle with the label and all that lost him some valuable years. Classic case of business vs art again and creative control.
Here’s another ready made song with a pop singer on the hook that Lupe didn’t want to do, so they gave it to BOB.

, he would get on these type songs but still try and get unnecessarily lyrical on it to please himself and the label, idk what happened after thatThat’s what took Tetsuo and Youth so long to drop tho. They gave him a another batch of songs he didn’t wanna do and then they ended up not being able to even clear those tracks so they just permanently put him on the bench until ******* internet hackers threatened them
It was right after that huge Sony leak so they just said **** it and gave him a date and he was out of his contract lol. I think he paid for most of that joint himself
