I don't even click on what's posted, because dudes are just cluttering it up with garbage

You're too old to be following behind dudes on the internet. Time to grow up and get your own identity and be your own man.

You're this topics version of Desiigner

Y’all gotta stall @6pac out. Bruh is only 21 years old. But atleast he respects older music and lyrical music of today. I *** with lil bruh thought process

This is exactly why i ignore ****** when they talk about who's "Hot" & "relevant" look at the **** new artist gotta deal with to get going. **** the sales & trying to be a star, release your art, tour & sell merch, and make sure you can still look yourself in the mirror at the end of the day...because a lot of these ****** become court jesters for a check.

Put out music, tour and sell merch A LOT easier said than done :lol

Everybody gotta have some type of marketing.

These dudes are hardly an authority but what they describing is a very niche type of artist that kids love I.e. Lil Pump, Bhad Bhabie type. Ain’t no grown _’s on Musically :lol

69 was hot. Regardless of how you feel about him he had a formula and almost EVERYTHING he dropped was bumped heavy

I'm not getting into this again man, that ***** got "Hot" based off all the dumb **** surrounding him. dude was apparently making music prior to Gunmo, i never heard a single peep about this ***** anywhere. He throws on some Red rags, trolls uncontrollably for months, becomes bff's with AK, A Million Memes

He is the PRIME example of everything brought up in that article. It worked too perfection. they drummed up a bunch of ******** on social media, created the image of being hot, and ****** just went along with it because we are in a era that just accepts things if enough people say it.

It isn't if your actually talented at making Music... Perfect example being someone like Curren$y,You only have to do the clown **** if you care about being considered the "hottest" or the most "popular". However if you just focus on your craft and your fanbase your gonna be around longer and feed yourself longer than feeding in to that ********.

However if your an artist making flash in the pan music, that's similar to everything "hot" at the moment, you have no choice but to do the clown **** because you know it's a momentary chance for you.

I think that some people feel like just because they don’t like the music nobody else in the world likes it or should like it. That **** be crazy lol

It’s a bunch of rappers i don’t like but i don’t go around hating calling their **** trash. Music is just different it’s someyhimg out here for everybody. It’s your own fault if you focus on the ones you don’t like.

I love Spitta been listening to him since day 1 but that’s a bad example

He benefitted from connections, timing and marketing heavy, that’s why he can do what he does at the level he does it. First artist signed to Young Money, was skateboarding and running around with Terry Kennedy and DC Skateboards at the commercial peak of skateboarding and then was working his move hard on the lifestyle rapper/weed cultural marketing **** before it got mainstream

Currensy coming out in 2018 with none of those prior affiliations, tryna market himself as a weed rapper would go absolutely nowhere

Guess I’ve been fortunate enough to only have heard a 69 song posted in here and no where else, that 69/A Boogie/Casanova(??) one.

Bro Curren$y fanbase ain't grow & stick with him because of any of the things you mentioned.. they did because he puts out quality music that is unique to him & his fanbase, & has focused solely on that. If anything people seeing him off YM & assuming him & wayne had "beef" hurt him get off the ground more than it helped.

But the main point is that you very well can create a nice fan base & tour w/o doing the stupid clown ****, AS LONG AS YOU MAKE GOOD MUSIC & provide something that isn't easily duplicated.

Is it a longer road, yes.... will it last longer and be more beneficial 95% of the time yes.

the hater boxden :nerd:

That’s a screen name I haven’t seen in years

Glad you’re still among the living fam  :smokin

How you gonna start off with “I’m not getting into this again” and then get into it again

The antics bring attention, talent keeps that attention.
There's PLENTY of untalented dudes that have the antics that will NEVER reach where 69 got.

You can’t just drop good music and get the fans to flock to you with money out ready to spend, not how it work  , _’s gotta have context for the music. All that **** got him his early fans and gave his music context/awareness. A lot of _’s wouldn’t of even known who the **** he was

You gonna tell me with a straight face _’s like Currensy and Wiz didn’t get a lot of fans from being lowkey gimmick weed rappers that dabbled into skateboarding etc at its peak? Yes they shed that eventually once they got traction but you gotta get traction FIRST

My point is everybody gotta have a brand/marketing bro. Street rappers are in such abundance because it’s a easy brand to market and has been since the 90s but if you not street you def gotta gave something else to offer
