Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

Ross wouldn't have been in a nationwide video squeezed in a authentic if he was this boss.

Where's the cubans and shades?

All in they dumb raps, talking about how they funds stack
When I see them in the street, I don't see none of that
Damn playboy, where the **** is the hummer at?
Where is all the ice with all the platinum under that?
Those ain't Rolex diamonds, what the **** you done to that?

Theirs a HOV verse for damn near any situation

I honestly wasnt aware of that someone post videos or describe what he was saying

Just the usual Trick Daddy ranting. Dudes act like Ross grew up in Orlando in private school or something. :lol

He really from Miami and been co-signed by dudes from there. It is what it is. All these _'s are actors to an extent.

Dude style never changed, he always rapped about that **** since he went by Teflon Don.

Hip Hop game changed when Wayne didn't get buried for kissing a man on the mouth and Ross didn't get buried for working for the badge. I didn't think either one of them would survive that and 10 years before that, they wouldn't have.

Ross has nothing better than Power of the dollar, 50 cent is the future, the old G-unit mixtapes, or get rich or die trying.

Ehhhhh, there may be 4 Ross albums I rather play than Power Of the Dollar, and I'll probably never listen to GRODT ever again other than What Up Gangsta and Patiently Waiting. 50 Cent is The Future and those early G-Unit tapes resonate with me much more than any other 50 related stuff.

Ross just a regular guy that grew up in the hood that’s also tied in with street ***** (because in rap music...especially on the chitterling circuit...this will always be a thing)....and also had a job that paid the bills :lol. I’m sure he did his lil share of dirt (like a lot of people that grew up in poverty and exaggerates a bit and sells an image).

Over time though...he’s definitely become that “boss” that he’s portrayed in a sense. Just not the Miami kingpin version that was obvious to us as an exaggeration.

I know street ***** that was CNA’s and been active since middle school :lol. Ross lies about being a C/O. That was dumb as **** and is a stain. But over time...he’s proven to be more of who he say he is

We've always allowed certain dudes to pass by depending on how much we liked the music

Cam got a pass for his "hot summer" video after Tru Life beat the brakes off him. Countless of rappers in the 90's that was extorted and robbed when they went to the West cuz they was pushing a certain image.

"A real G, I never kissed _s or shot myself"

IG comment says, if you did this at 20, why become a CO? Exactly, I'll never roll with Ross fake persona. Feel like he fronting about his age or spent his 20K slip N slide check in one day on a Benz and watch. Ross been caught in lies, I don't believe **** he says.

There's nothing overrated about Jeezy cause since he's come in the game, he's constantly said he wasn't the best rapper or was trying to be.
