Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

Exodus just came on the shuffle .

That was the best song we got through the whole cash money / Pusha t beef . That touched Wayne soul.

I remember He went on twitter saying **** Pusha t and anybody who love him .... then released a song saying “his head in his *** so I gotta headbutt him” :smh:

Drake was feeling himself too much with Meek not to remember that

The legend Boosie back on vlad

Lol Boosie be wildin sometimes but he a real one.

I live in Denver and a couple years ago I pulled up to a dispensary, walked in and homie was in there, no ego. Way different than I expected him to be.

I Hope To god this continues, Daylyt was speaking on gang culture on his no jumper interview (great interview BTW) and said it best, we don't need no more gangbangers we need soldiers for our people. Same thing the NOI did, when they started grabbing dudes off the street & getting them in focus and on a mission to protect their own.

Homie put things in perspective when he said someone would probably try & kill him for speaking out against gang culture, but will run from the cops/not retaliate when the cops do one of the homies dirty.

I was just in Arby’s trynna get some of them Oreo bites they sell on my lunch break and wypipo be wylin. They took my mans jeff verse off Havana on whatever station they had playing.

That's what I said. That's big.

So there’s a huge rivalry behind these two sets?

Gotta forgive the ignorance on this one for some of us folks outside of Cali.

The optics alone seems like it’s pretty monumental, so that’s dope in and of itself.

Appreciate y’all.

Crazy that this stuff is so deep seeded, but it’s cool there’s an effort to collectivize and at least talk like men. Sucks that it took a loss like this, though.

I respect what he did by putting CM on his back after everybody else left but he's overrated. Talented but he was never the best rapper in the game.

He didn't put CM on his back, everyone left. BG, Juvenile and Turk all had diss songs and left cause Baby was robbing them. I'm still confused how Wayne blew up cause his music been trash since day one.

Fun fact - Wayne's biggest and most memorable verse is him saying wa wa wabbady wabbady drop it like it's hot

He did put them on his back. :lol

CM's buzz was was getting smaller and smaller as people kept leaving then Wayne went on his run and made them a big brand again. That's just facts.

Exodus could of applied to a variety of people. Still dont understand why people connected it to Wayne immediately

Feel like i've heard da baby on this beat multiple times.

That’s gonna be their downfall unless they switch it up outta nowhere.

They really kinda made the same song hella times after FAN. and really that’s Stunnas producer imo who be on that sound
