I just wanna know why....
Always liked this song. The Pharrell beat was completely out the norm for NL but it worked
Did U-God just moonwalk forward?
I just finished the episode where they talk about Future. I don’t remember if we discussed that in here, but future fans how ya feel about your mans not being on drugs and still selling that image? Do ya think it was his responsibility to tell his fans he stopped drinking lean?
So I’m way behind on the Joe Budden podcast, hard to keep up with the two episodes a week now.

So y’all bash people for rapping about a something they’re not but give Future a pass for his fairy tales?

I don't listen to music and expect anybody to rap exactly they life so I don't care.
I think it's odd to hold rappers to the responsibility to live what they rap when they rap violence, drugs, etc but when they do all of that they stupid for putting it in a song. I look at music the same way I see movies, it's just entertainment. I don't expect Denzel to be able to do Equalizer quality fighting so I'm not gonna expect a rapper to drink/smoke/pop pills like they rap.
We gon look down on Drake when he rap about how he gon ride around Calabasas looking to fight somebody or calling some shooters too?
perception enables anything that comes after good or bad in this music ****
as long as future's fans like future he can do whatever the **** he wants to do good or bad
nobody likes bow wow so he cant get away with making the music future make and being a square IRL
He gets made fun of in here routinely because of thatI don't listen to music and expect anybody to rap exactly they life so I don't care.

I think the difference is when you find out something that is a major part of their rap persona isn't them.
Embellishing or false bravado is something people expect.
