Vince was able to do his **** pretty much unscathed while he was over there but Corey Smyth worked out a deal where they purposely took a smaller advance in exchange for more creative control on the backend. So he wasn't necessarily ballin right off the bat and getting tons of promo etc but it freed him up in a lot of other ways

Idk what kinda situation East got going over there but I do think he wanna be a star and be on a way bigger level. Seem like he got a big female fanbase already or at least has the potential to have one

this is prolly 1 of the only good songs on that album. I love the early-mid 80's samples on non club typa tracks, Imaginary Player is 1 of the best Jay-Z songs in his entire catalog and is on the same vibe. Puffy, Mason, Jay-Z, Lil Cease (yes, the same Lil Cease that BIGGIE rapped about all the time), Jadakiss or The Lox could drop an album over nothing but these types of samples I bet it'd be super dope.
