Ya’ll not rocking with Kanye old **** either? It’s been a year or so for me but that’s cause there’s just too much other music I’d rather hear.
The whole "I thought he was cancelled" argument is hilarious.
1. Those still aren't great numbers, superstars are doing double that still in 2019.
Nah those are pretty good numbers bro, he’s in the back half of his career
It’s the biggest first week of the year in rap depending on if you consider post Malone rap or not
Nah, I don't really go back to his old stuff anymore. It's just wild to hear how far he's come from Two Words Kanye to Trump Kanye. Like I said though, to each his own. I don't begrudge anyone who goes to his old stuff.Ya’ll not rocking with Kanye old **** either? It’s been a year or so for me but that’s cause there’s just too much other music I’d rather hear.
I don’t agree, Kanye a superstar like Em and Jay. Those two are putting up double or close to it. AND Kanye has a huge Arab, Asian and white fanbase. Plus he has the Kardashian family and fans.
Also, are his numbers official cause I just looked it up on the charts to see his true numbers and his album isn’t even on the charts.
The mega church _’s and hipster Christians actually raving over the album, he tapped into the zeitgeist
Bro might have just created the new Hillsong he prolly bout to start touring those big churches, they’re basically big concerts anyway
Him rapping and performing for a white man is hilarious
Talking about someone on a message board is supporting them? Streaming, merchandise, albums and clothes is support. Something I don’t do when it comes to that bozo
You’re reaching, not paying attention to him. I don’t know his album title or his song titles. I’m just responding to people on a message board.
People get so wrapped up in there being a huge quantifiable impact on the artists...and if there isn't they try to undercut people's stance.
I can't speak for everyone, but I know when I check out on someone or something (Kanye West, The NFL) it isn't about seeing some huge negative impact. It's just about me personally not supporting that person/thing with my attention and/or my money.
For some people, the principle has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not other people are doing the same.
So much talk about individuality, but we're still trying to delegitimize people who are making their own personal decisions because the rest of society isn't 1000% on board.
In short, to each his own.
The whole "I thought he was cancelled" argument is hilarious.

2. Kanye has been cancelled in my house and in my car for years. I haven't heard a single song off this new album, Ye or his album with Cudi.
3. A lot of people that are checking that album want to be apart of the moment and be included. One thing that majority of the world can't handle is being excluded.
Not rolling with this portion, but like I said to each his own. Using examples of what the black community is willing to accept doesn't absolve Kanye to everyone. In all honesty, to each his own can apply to both sides of this argument. I wouldn't get too wrapped up in 'cancel' culture. It's unrealistic and is an emotional response. The segment of the population that tries to 'cancel' what they don't rock with ain't really my people either. People are just as emotionally charged on both sides of this debate. It's not just the cancel people, but the people who speak out so strongly against 'cancel' culture that are feeding into the ridiculousness of this whole thing and keeping the fire going. The Hilarity that comes to me... hearing how damaging Kanye's message is to the black community in a culture that has long accepted
Drugs, infidelity, abuse, violence, ignorance, etc etc..... We bop to those songs daily, play them ****s like it's normal
but a dude throws on a red cap.... and THAT"S where we draw the line on someone being damaging for the culture
Same **** with Jay, We support dozens upon dozens of companies that do the same thing the NFL does in terms of race relations... but Jay makes the deal & NOW he's a ****.
the inconsistencies & entitlement that comes with those who subscribe to cancel culture is hilarious.

Here's my rule: Support who/what you like, don't support who/what you don't like. Respect other's choice to support or not support someone based on their own ideals. It is what it is.
Black people always canceling somebody and yet nothing happens
