Right, all those context clues made that point clear. Great job

If this is Budden’s last moment of EDS.....
Let’s all take a moment to relive his finest moment on the show. The “Budden Growl and Pounce”
@5:34-5:47
Too many men on screen make you feel funny bruh?
Yeah, seems like a leverage move now, but Joe is the type to just walk away like that. He managed to use his unpredictability to his benefit.Yeah I think Joe is just playing a chess move. Trying to get folks on his side. Look at the video. That **** has 1k likes and 2k dislikes. I think what he doing is working and he'll be back
speaking of k foxx
Nedeska adds nothing to the show. Her personality is dry. They should find a young Free, K Foxx or Angie.
The video today has double the dislikes than likes. Complex better ante up.I wonder how much he's asking for, what y'all think he's worth?
I’m glad you asked that my friend. Walk with me.
In all seriousness, there’s nothing wrong with being paid your worth. Me suggesting otherwise would be foolish on my end. But to view it objectively, we don’t know how much Complex is offering, and we don’t know how much Joe believes he deserves. So let’s not speculate much on this part since all we have to good off is what he’s made public on his dealings with Complex. He said in the past is that he’s being paid, and it stands to reason that you wouldn’t stick around 8 months if you felt you weren’t being given your just due. I’d imagine Complex isn’t paying him crumbs.
The point I’m driving it as the idea that Joe sees himself as “a creator” and has been vocal about not doing things for the money. The guy has been on his podcast plenty of times saying that his moves aren’t based on monetary aspects, and he’s mentioned that his Jewish manager Ian is often at odds with him about that decision.
Now with everyday struggle, the way he himself is presenting it suggests that money aspect is the primary reason he’s choosing to walk away. That directly contradicts his statements on choosing to move for reasons other than the bag. It’s even more interesting now that he’s claiming that he created everyday struggle on his Twitter (how true that is, I don’t know).
Imo, that contradiction is indicative on a greater lack of “integrity”. More so than him calling out Big Sean and Metro for a money grab.
There's only so much revenue that show can generate on YouTube. It's not like they doing Fousey numbers.
If the show isn't making Complex dough...I can totally understand Verizon not feeling like they need to cough more bread up.
The comments
"Oh so Budden not here all week? No need to give them views then"
"Akademiks is cool but this show needs joe"
"Joe got multiple accounts talking bout "BRING JOE BACK"
The way this _ throwing the other side under the bus, its def a pressure/leverage move
He on Twitter hinting at having a new show coming soon, said Revolt hit him up etc
Yeah I've thought about this as well. I'm surprised one of these thirsty brands like Adidas haven't came on as a sponsor yet.
man lets be real
Joe take this “hiatus” to avoid having to be honest about Revival, he’s gonna wait until the discussion dies down, he’ll be back
Also IIRC, Google keeps 45% of all revenue...and for a show that’s not really doing crazy numbers anyway...the remaining slice of that pie that sound too lucrative.
If money is the motive here...it was always destined to fail if YouTube was the end game.
That Gilbert Arenas show is a waste too.
